Every year with Otz, I'm going to assume we have a legit chance to win the whole thing.
Awesome to see several new guys step up. If we have a game where that happens and we are hitting threes, watch out;
Buchanan is the big man passing threat the staff tried to force Conditt into being. His passing and Jefferson’s passing, on the floor at the same time, really opens up this offense potentially in a way we haven’t come close to with a TJ team
Scoring in the 90’s while only hitting 5 three-pointers.
Tell me we score in the 90’s before the game I would thought Milan had to make 5 by himself. Ball moved around tonight.

Jefferson missed most of the first half with foul trouble as well.
Pretty impressive to run a decent sec team out of the gym while getting nothing from Milan, Jefferson only playing one half and terrible shooting from 3!! If they put it all together this team can do some damage!!
Not quite as confident as you but always expect a competitive team and making the tourney.
Only question mark to being as good or better than last year is a guy who can get his shots off the dribble like Gilbert and Jones could last year. If Tamin can close like he did tonight, this team will be very tough to beat. I could see him having a Jamal Shead like senior year.
That’s where I am right now. We’ll face teams that simply hit tough shots, while we struggle a little on offense. Minimize those droughts and get into transition.
It seems the Buchanan-Jefferson combo should/will be able to manufacture some buckets when needed.

Tamin's ceiling is his health. Easily one of the best guards in the country, I wouldn't trade him for anyone.
Opponent shot 41% from 3 high volume too.

MSU started out pretty strong, but ISU defense depth discipline took over.
It will be essential to get him rest. The new guys look really good, but the team is so much better with Tamin on the court.
I'm similar in we need some one that can be a Curtis Jones lite to make this team snap together. Bateman seems to be the most likely to fill that role of some one that can get a shot off when the offense just isn't working.
Lipsey makes this team go. A healthy Lipsey means a dangerous Iowa State team
He looks incredible right now. Hopefully he can stay relatively healthy. He deserves that kind of a year.
