Is there something wrong with traditional griddle food? Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and French toast. Get your Bkackstone ready.Best food for an early kick time. What is it?
I've had the smashed part down several times in the morning before.Going with the smashed breakfast tacos tomorrow.
I'll need your location and lax security to confirm this.Made 50 breakfast burritos last night. We do pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, etc.. If in a pinch, we just get Casey's Breakfast pizzas.
Oh, and we always get donuts from Bricktown Bakery in Nevada. Absolutely the best donuts I have ever had and the rest of their stuff is amazing too.
Jimmy Dean’s has a maple flavored sausage that is pretty good. I’ve used it in breakfast casseroles, but haven’t tried it for biscuits and gravy.Going the biscuit and gravy route. Friends are bringing Krispy Kreme’s and Casey’s B-Pizza. Wife is making an egg/hashbrown/sausage bake.
Plan on splitting the biscuits, then butter them and onto the flattop. Going to add some maple sugar to the gravy for a maple flavor.
Sounds like a job for a Blackstone griddleBreakfast is not too hard on the grill. While you can pre-make and reheat things like breakfast burritos it sure tastes better right off the grill after it was made than reheated the next day. Just need some tin foil pans and maybe some kind of skillet depending on what you make. I've plugged in an electric skillet to the generator before which helps if you want some crispy hashbrowns.
We are going to do real eggs, sausage, bacon, and some kind of potato and veggies as a side tomorrow. We've done scrambles, burritos, and sandwiches before. Did a marinated flank steak burrito loaded up with grilled veggies and potatoes for a breakfast earlier this season that was delicious.
To clarify, burritos tomorrow, along with cheesy breakfast potatos, donuts and fruit. We will have pumpkin pie in a cup for late morning. Also, bloodys, mimosas, screw drivers, coffee and baileys and hot cider with Carmel vodka.I'll need your location and lax security to confirm this.
This is a great option, set up a omelette bar.One popular thing we've done in the past for breakfast tailgates is omelettes-in-a-bag.
Crack some eggs into a plastic sandwich bag. Add meat, peppers, onions, cheese, whatever to the bag. Drop in a boiling pot of water for a few minutes until the eggs are cooked. Enjoy.
Another good call. We’ve done this in a large crockpot.Breakfast casserole is a good choice. You can make it up the day before in disposable aluminum pan and cook it before or at the tailgate depending on your setup. Can make it as big or small as you need, stays warm fairly well and cleanup is a trash can. Of course some form of a Bloody Mary is a must, no matter the occasion.
