I can't tell on TV but it seems like they sub just to sub and it gets disjointed.
Last year one or both of Noel or Higgins should have been somewhere every play if for no other reason than to be a threat and make a backer or safety have to make a choice.
That's exactly what it looks like.
Sowell, Eskilsen and Brahmer should be on the field 85% of the time.
Hansen should be on the field 70% of the time.
I realize this is a message board and everybody can share their thoughts, but with the number of coaching vacancies opening up I hope those AD's are perusing this site 'cause several posters could end up with high profile jobs.
I’m not sure your implication but BYU suspended its senior QB for 7 games because he broke the honor code he signed. He chose to go elsewhere rather than miss half the season. So they rolled the dice with a true freshman. As for funding, the athletic department has to be self sufficient (no church tithes are allowed to be used).
Thanks for the clarification! Was just a little steamed after a rough outing. On Monday, a loss to the #11 team in the country is much less frustrating.
Honestly, I'm all for sitting Rocco for a game to see if he can straighten things out on the bench. He has not been good ever since that hit he took in Cincy.
So how many yards did we rush for the last 2 games. This is the best line CMC has had, and they have had a decent year.
I’m guessing if we scored a td instead of a miscommunication interception you would have watched them pound the rock for the rest of the game.
BYU qb is just a flat out really good player. Sometimes the other team just has really good players too.
But if we don't play lots of guys, they will get mad and portal! It so frustrating.
BYU and CU don’t exactly jump off the page of top rush defense teams. BYU is #45 and CU is #132. And look at how many times the QB was running for his life, hit or taken down Saturday…against 3 or 4 rushers…no blitz most of the time.
