If we look like this a month from now, I’ll be concerned. Having this half on tape has to help the coaching over the next few weeks. Getting punched in the face makes it easier for coaches to get players attention.

They are all leaving, and then they are rebranding as a new conference.
It's a bummer they are getting their ass kicked but it's a great learning experience and doesn't count, although it will probably show up in the AP ranking which is one of the reasons coaches always wanted these to be secret. Creighton is shooting out of their minds from 3. I get some of that is defense but it's also some bad luck.

Nelson seems like he can get to the hole whenever he wants. I notice he gets fouled a lot without getting the call. Very similar to Gilbert.

the AP ranking will not be impacted by this.....only regular season games count toward AP

But making it seem like it matters is a waste of time imo for a game that literally won't be on the record.
Pleta looked pretty solid on defense. Every other big has been unimpressive.
The difference in (most of) pre-season NFL is that your main guys aren’t playing.
Our main guys, minus Lipsey, are… And it’s not pretty.

The worst half of bball I can remember from ISU. TJ wanted to win every possession, they lost most all of them.
Rebounding is terrible, D is awful, O misses most everything and no 3s. Milan is invisible. Heise, where are you? This is not just missing Tamin. Hopefully they can start figuring it out.

we all know it's an exhibition....we're also discussing that if the things that aren't working continue when the regular season starts, it could be a rough go at it.
Let's just hope it was a really bad half of basketball playing high level competition for the first time this "season".
One positive is it's a decent crowd and throws the new guys into that kind of dynamic.
I think Creighton's supposed to be good again so it's probably good for film.
Not to mention the NFL players are wearing pads.
Buchanan was billed as a guy athletically in range of what BRE provided for switchability. I haven’t seen that level of intensity. It seems like the physical ability is there at least

It's October and our preseason All Big12 player is out. TJ has earned some patience.
I mean, individual pollsters can rate based on whatever they want. I'm sure some will factor it in
