Well it's certainly no Milwaukee's Beast...And it's Highway robbery for that swill.
Don't come at me, I'll drink the stuff... But it's true!

If Nebraska is "only" making $500,000 per game with 80k plus people, not sure how we move the needle that much. But any positive number is great for us.I’m sure someone (Jamie) has the math. I just have a hard time seeing how this would move the needle that much on a NET $ impact.
And that $500k is just revenue, not profits. If Nebraska is "only" making $500,000 per game with 80k plus people, not sure how we move the needle that much. But any positive number is great for us.
I think we can drink more per capital though.....
Now that may actually still be 12-15 dollars for a case!Well it's certainly no Milwaukee's Beast...
OMG you're right. I thought that was profits. And here they were thinking 120K tall boys per game might be "not enough". When they are only selling about a 1/3 of that total per game. And that $500k is just revenue, not profits.
It’s the main reason we’re not doing it currently. Nebraska is making a whopping $125k a game from it.
We’re estimated to make $400-$500k per football season in profit.
They anticipate losing money in ticket sales from the SEZ if they sell alcohol to the public.Which is more than all of CF donates to the AD or WeWill combined. If they expect to beg fans to spend more, they damn well better take all the money they can generate themselves.
I just cant buy that argument. Maybe if they swapped out the bleachers for stadium seats between the 30s.They anticipate losing money in ticket sales from the SEZ if they sell alcohol to the public.

If the folks getting married can't pony up to pay for people's Busch light they sure as hell shouldn't be paying for a large wedding they likely can't afford.I was at a wedding this past weekend with a cash bar that was charging $5/can for a can of Busch Light when I saw them carrying in a 24-pack that they probably bought for what $12-$15?
Just relaying what I know.No way they'd lose more in that (if any) than they make in profit via sales stadium-wide. SEZ still has temp control & mixed drinks/premium beverages as benefits.
No one knows, losing people in the Sukup area may happen or it may not. But until alcohol is allowed throughout the stadium, it's only what some people think may happen.Just relaying what I know.

It seems strange that schools like Iowa have no trouble selling the premium tickets while also serving alcohol to the poor, but ISU cannot. Again do other schools once they offer alcohol, see a drop in the premium ticket sales, because for many it's more than just alcohol to pay and sit there. The balance point for stadium-wide booze is 500 end zone club tickets.
They’ve done the research. I’m not sure I didn’t ask.No one knows, losing people in the Sukup area may happen or it may not. But until alcohol is allowed throughout the stadium, it's only what some people think may happen.
Other stadiums that sell alcohol to the general public, once they started did they see a drop in the private areas, and if so, how large of a drop?
Post the data if it's so obvious this is a huge money-maker for everyone who adds it.Literally all of them? If we're in the only twilight zone where you can lose my selling $15 beers to a captive audience then I guess we just need to accept it, but it seems super unlucky.
Rutgers lost money their first couple of years on alcohol. I don’t think they were the only ones either I just remember that one specifically.Literally all of them? And then after that?Rutgers lost money their first couple of years on alcohol. I don’t think they were the only ones either I just remember that one specifically.
Huge is relative, it's up to you to decide if the numbers are huge or not.Post the data if it's so obvious this is a huge money-maker for everyone who adds it.
