*** 2025-26 ISU WBB Season Thread ***

Agree. Bill is in it for the players for two years. It would to be a compete disaster (like a losing record) for him to retire early. I sure wish I had access to that list in Jamie’s desk drawer. Inquiring minds want to know.
99%agree

1% - if Billy gets the job, Bill could retire after this year so that Billy’s first team was loaded. Only exception I could see.

Bill must really like working with the people at Southern. We will have played Southern 7 times after our game with them this year more than 7 teams in our conference.

It’s like the Washington Generals. Finding someone who is willing to travel and take a beating and be willing to do it over and over again is a good thing. On the less sarcastic side…it’s a great thing for the Southern women to be able to experience playing in an environment like Hilton.

Iowa and Iowa State must make it worth their while.

2021-22: at Marquette, at Iowa, at ISU
2022-23: at Iowa, at ISU
2024-25: at OU, at MIZ, at ISU, at NEB, at COLO, at CSU (Nov. 4-19)
2025-26: at Iowa, at ISU

I can't remember, but were they the ones last year who chanted "D-Up" constantly every time we had the ball? That game annoyed the HELL out of me.

I recall TTU doing that the entire game along with miss finger guns.

The latest Cycast podcast provides some insight into the team and possible rotations. I think our offense has the potential to be really good. I’m excited to see Jada play. It will be interesting to see if our defense and rebounding improve from last year. It will be interesting to see what combinations of players are on the floor together.
Which episode covered that? I’m just seeing football previews. Inside one of those?

And in each of the pairings you bolded, they played Iowa and ISU back to back. Looking at their non-conference schedules they do appear to be good at setting up pairings like that to cut down on travel time and travel costs.

It looks like all single game tickets went on sale this morning except for the Iowa game. Anyone know if and when single game tickets will go on sale for the Iowa game on 12/10?

Single games went on sale to season ticket holders on Tuesday. Today was general public. Season ticket holders can already buy Iowa tickets.

Thanks. Doesn't look like the Iowa game went on sale today to the general public, which is why I am asking. Unfortunately I can't get season tickets for multiple reasons.

It will likely be our first sellout since Hawks were here in 2023. With the attendance at both Iowa and ISU last year this really should be another sellout. Had 10k for TCU and KSU last year but that's a bit south of a sellout so likely need some Hawk bought tickets for a sellout.

In the coaches' corner interview linked above, it was mentioned that ISU WBB has a scrimmage on Sunday. Anyone know who it is? I didn't hear them mention it although I was multitasking while listening.

I was told that Iowa single game tickets go on sale Nov. 19 by the young lady at the ticket office today.

Jack those prices up on the Iowa game let's monetize the potential attendance.
Also it'll make the season tkt holders feel like we are getting a better deal, after this yrs price increases.
