Our D is just wanting it to not be too easy.... Their are challenging the O to beat these guys by themselves. 3 Dimensional Chess here.

Kind of like they got tired saving the game in the first half.

I am guessing they have recruited for that scheme. Going another direction might be worse right now.

The problem is the DL is the most important part of the defense and we are awful there! We need a super wealthy donor to give a lot of money.
We can’t win at a higher level with small town Iowa boys and a poor DL.

We did that - it resulted in a 15-yard QB scramble. Not saying we shouldn't blitz, just saying pay attention to what's happening in the game.
