It works if you have NFL talent at DE which we obviously don’t. What’s Campbell always say - players, formations, plays? How long til he admits he doesn’t have the players for it?

If we know our DBs are inexperienced. Why not blitz and force a quicker decision and potential bad throw.
This coaching staff is not coaching very well.....they refuse to change. We've seen how that works for other coaches

When we decide to do it in the off season and recruit to the 4 man down D. I have been told a ton of times that the philosphies do not just easily switch back and forth. MAybe we should all quit asking for this since people who know O-line have exaplined it ~1,367 times.
bad news is.... we pretty much suck at this point (especially with all the injuries). the good news is... somehow we are still in this game because CU is such an AWFUL football team. we would be down by 3 TDs to an average team.

It works when you have elite DEs. But we won't get those elite DEs because they don't want to be in a 3 lineman defense because their stats will be worse for NFL scouts.
McDonald was the exception.
We did that - it resulted in a 15-yard QB scramble. Not saying we shouldn't blitz, just saying pay attention to what's happening in the game.
