*** 2025 Week 6 (Oct. 2 - Oct. 4) CFB Games Thread ***

College football is weird sometimes. Losses happen. We lost to a pretty decent team today and Penn state loses to a terrible UCLA team and Texas loses. I don’t give a rats ass about name, those two should be behind us no matter what.

Jeez.

1 top 10 team... loses to a really really bad 0-4 team that fired their coach
another loses to a really bad 1-4 team that was planning to fire their coach

So how do they make theses "good losses"? You know that is going to be what they try to make the narrative somehow. And some pollsters will probably still have them both in the top 10 on their ballots.

I'm pretty sure Penn State and Texas don't have any power4 wins. We, on the other hand, have 3.

Neither will considered a "good loss" by anybody. They are both "bad losses"

I was thinking the same thing. Both still don’t have a P4 win. But both will still be in the top 20 because of their name

Penn State shouldn’t be ranked at all after that loss.

UCLA didnt even have enough fans to storm the field, it wasnt even a true road game for Penn State

“It’s never easy when you face off against a B1G/SEC conference foe, every game is a battle, you just never know who will rise to the occasion, UCLA/Florida should probably be ranked”
