We were trying to get the WRs involved in the offense more, but Rocco came out throwing the ball high, which he tends to do. Overall we got a D effort today, the offense looked good, but the defense could not get off the field. Only one TO on a pass that should have been caught, the running game looked very good. Best thing about today we got a win, and get a much needed off week. It's been a long 4 weeks, but we are 4-0 and that is what matters. Rest up and get ready for Arizona.

FWIW, Fafita is better than the ASU guy + # 21 is a bad ass RB for Arizona.
I think the Arizona @ ISU game in two weeks is going to be a high scoring back and forth affair.

One thing that I think is being overlooked is Arkansas might actually be decent this year.

I was told top teams don't struggle with G5 programs.
Oddsmakers guessed it wrong. Today was the trap game of this stretch and should’ve been the 12-13 or spread on the road, not USD.
I think this was Mauser’s worst planned game. We should have come out and ran on them but we decided to be cute and let them hang around.

It's different, since OSU is playing at home. You have to struggle at home. Um, yeah.
ND lost to Northern Illinois at home last year. It happens
And Abu had an 85 yd TD called back
Reasons could include
- Arkansas might have a better offensive line than ours
- Our passing game needs to be revamped after losing the dominant wide receivers we've had the past several years
- Give future opponents something to look at on film
You would think after 10 years people would have figured out Campell doesn't care about the number of points scored or the winning margin. He cares about winning the game, player development, and playing the game the right way.
Arkansas State looked like a team with talented players who were well coached
I'm sure the coaches have seen some things that need work over the bye week. We have one of the very best coaches in the country and are 4-0. Should we not be happy?
I get that. I would just prefer come out, punish the inferior team, get a decent lead and then give the WRs some practice.

This staff has some Rocco hubris. They trust him infinitely.
It was a bad game plan. Period. We ran the ball well we just didn’t put it together. Coupled with a couple missed easy catches and an unbelievably stupid roughing the punter and you end up with a one score win. I think we come out and dominate Arizona with a week off
I didn't care about if it were a run or not but wanted to see more quick passes to the 2nd level to let guys get downfield vs. what seemed like longer developing plays that gave ASU time to keep coverage.
Like the early stuff to Moore; get him the ball, let him bully down hill.
Speaking of this, anyone know the score of the VT/ODU game?
What is OD doing playing that as an away game anyway?
