Dodged a bullet there thanks to Arkansas State's impatient play-calling.

And the WR Cobb. Poor mans Darin SprolesHonestly impressed with their QB today. Not gonna lie.
Yup. Gotta keep a low profile...woudn't want to blow anybody out and jump into the top 10 or anything like that...Campbell is happy it went down this way
I think we have some defensive issues right now. Teams are able to our together long, time-sucking, morale-sucking drives. Pretty awesome though to know we have a huge growth area and we are 4-0 while we figure it out.Glad to get out with a W, but that was one of the worst offensive/defensive schemes and play calling I've ever seen. We could have run straight up the middle every play, gained 400 yards rushing and won by 20+. And the defense played like it didn't know that qbs were allowed to run. That third down call at the end was insane, can't believe Campbell allowed it
I don't think we want anyone watching that game. They might pull our NCAA membership...It’s a win. It was a mess. Won’t be surprised if it results in a drop in the polls. After all…voters only look at scores.
What about Tennessee? They will jump us too.And Clemson.
They battled hard in their loss.
Their QB was getting them to commit and then making the right call. Not an excuse, we will see that again several times. I also think we are still taking it easy on our young safeties responsibilities as they would normally be the ones to take the gap the LB leaves when they commit.Linebackers, while lot, were awful today. Not sure what they were doing most of the time.

I’m actually impressed the overall numbers are as favorable as they are. I mean, outgaining your opponent 5.5 ypc to 4.0 ypc while getting over 10 yards per completion ought to mean an easy three TD win, but, well …They had long (time wise) drives and ISU had explosive plays so it makes sense.
What?Consensus wrong again in September, 4 for 4(against the spread)

They weren’t reading the plays at all. Many times literally stopping and thinking to see what was going on and you can’t think. One touchdown, Ebel filled the hole and instead of blowing the blocker into the runner he dipped away from him and just let the blocker and back run right into the home while he ran to the 6 yard line behind the play. There were plays like that all day. They were way behind on picking things up it looked like.
I think it was a bad game plan from the start. We aired it out too much early on. Their run defense is awful. Run the ball, get up big, then work on your issues.Honestly if Rocco came out sharp we would have beaten them bad, but he didnt
Consensus was ISU would cover, they did not. From my vantage that makes consensus wrong the last 4 weeks, but luckily that pattern doesnt hold as well the rest of the way. What?
