Cyhawk postgame thread

I would say Iowa's floor is 3 wins and their ceiling 7.

70 should have had a PF called against him.
70 was doing **** like that all day. He was the one who pulled our tackler over him after the whistle and kicked him to try (successfully) to get a reaction so he could flop on the ground at the end of the first half. He was hitting people late after the whistle and popping guys on the pile because they weren't getting off the pile fast enough for his taste. Officials should be talking to a player like that and letting him know they are watching him and that he has used up all of his chances. Also, when he goes down later give the opponent a little bit of leeway when they have seen the chippy **** he has done all game.

Here's your douche of the game:

Good riddance.

Iowa State has more than an edge at WR. We’re better at every position than them outside OL.

Which is why it took a C level performance and several huge mistakes by officials to make that a game

We also got conservative, sitting on a lead against a team that could only beat us if we made a mistake

Every position? It’s a lot closer to ISU being better at every position. I mean, I don’t think they can even argue QB, TE, LB, K, P. I’d say ISU has the edge at DB and WR. DL is probably a push. They probably have an edge at OL, but it’s not very big.
I thought their DB’s were good.
I thought nobodies WR’s looked very good.

I know I know, we don't wanna give this trash traffic. But another thread on asking Campbell to coach at Iowa, and this one is a little different.

We broke them.

That's funny.... they think Albaugh and Stine are bankrolling ISU.

I started to make a list of reasons campbell might leave to go to Iowa for a laugh and then I started getting really worried...
1. He loves his team wearing black and Iowa invented black
2. He loves the Midwest and Iowa is even closer to Ohio
3. He could make more money and is proven to be very money driven
4. He loves serving his community and waving just does more than he's able to do at ISU

Its making a lot of sense, should we start the meltdown?

Tired of the "Our #1 RB and #1 WR were out and we lost our #1 TE in the game" excuses from hawk fans. Most teams adjust. I guess their offensive guru Lester doesn't know how to. MFHFC Kirk "Average Joe" Ferentz continues his "vanilla/plain/no emotion/gum chewing" style of coaching.

Their #1 RB, WR and TE wouldn’t even be on our even travel squad. Willich and Buhr being out were the only two injuries that mattered.

Why would anyone listen to anything Hawk fans say in the first place?
