Ask Murphy if the Big 10 ever had three teams ranked 1,2,3 or had one its games called the game of the century. Or if its tie in bowl game almost every year determined the natty?Kieth Murphy the other day dropped that Iowa has always been in the more prestigious conference.
I grew up an Iowa fan moving back and forth between Iowa and Nebraska during Hayden era. The Big Ten was absolutely never better at football than the Big 8 or Big 12. It was really obvious the Big 12 especially was far superior and I realized it even as an Iowa fan family, I could tell Iowa was very lucky they didn’t have to play OU, Neb, Colorado, ksu, Texas, A&M etc in the 90s and early 00s and got to play inferior slow teams. The day the Big Ten became the better fb conf was the day OU/Texas left combined with best Pac programs joining Big Ten, never before then.
I think the plan was to milk it down as far as possible. TD or FG with as little time left as possible. Loved how we dominated the Iowa D on that drive.Wasn’t crazy about going for a field goal at the end, but it worked out so WTH
Being an ISU fan puts you on the right side of this rivalry. After the game was over, I saw zero ISU fans trash talking, throwing things or picking fights with any Hokroaches. I did see 1 Hok fan trying to pick a fight. In Iowa City the Hok fans are even worse. Thank you ISU fans for staying classy yesterday.
He’d be the 4th best player if there were 3 people in the photo. There was a picture of Tyrese, his fiance, Caitlin and Patrick McCaffrey together and my favorite twitter comment was: “I know nothing about Tyrese’s lady but I’m willing to bet that McCaffrey is the 4th best basketball player in that photo.”![]()
Now do the Dline that was very good.Top PFF grades:
Marcus Neal Jr.— 80.6
Gabe Burkle— 73.3
Abu Sama III— 71.1
Caleb Bacon—. 70.5
Jamison Patton— 69.6
Rocco Becht— 68.8
It was a classic Iowa recipe and we played right into their hands. They hang around, the opponent burns clock struggling against Iowa’s defense, setting up a tough long FG. A miss and Iowa’s in great field position to run out the clock and hit a game winner. Even Iowa’s offense can move 25 yards in 2 minutesI think the plan was to milk it down as far as possible. TD or FG with as little time left as possible. Loved how we dominated the Iowa D on that drive.
I mean the 3Maw guys are ready to fire him. Both fan bases do not understand they can do far worse than the 8-10 win seasons they have had with their current situations. I really hope they both fire their coaches and end up in a perpetual Nebraska downward spiral.I don't think they can get Klieman. He is BFFs with the AD, so if he is winning I don't see him leaving. And if the wheels fall off the KSU bus enough that he would leave, it will be bad enough thay Iowa won't want him.
What’s up with KSU thinking they’re so talented?I mean the 3Maw guys are ready to fire him. They have spent a lot of money on coaches and players recently, and it hasnt worked out how they wanted. What’s up with KSU thinking they’re so talented?

They expect to be world beaters by paying for it, and cant figure out that there is more to it than that.
Honestly KSU and TOE both seem very similar in their delusions, like identical.
Honestly it's the same issue Texas had forever. They have spent a lot of money on coaches and players recently, and it hasnt worked out how they wanted.

Except Texas actually did spend more money than its competition, and recruited at an elite level. They lacked development and cultureHonestly it's the same issue Texas had forever.
And kstate spent more money than we did, and more than Army. Yet they lost. And they're pissed about it. It's clearly a smaller scale for sure, but really the same thingExcept Texas actually did spend more money than its competition, and recruited at an elite level. They lacked development and culture
Why is it that whenever I see isufbcurt I read ISU butt hurt? Dislexia?I trash talked the fat drunkin Iowa slop in the row in front of me and trash talked all the Iowa fans walking down the stairs by me leaving after their 4th down attempt was unsuccessful.
