Affordable auto shop rates

TL;DR version - I'm looking for a shop that will work on my land rover with parts i supply.

I have an LR3 with high miles and I need to install the filter conversion kit. I don't have a lift and while that's not neccessary, would make this much easier. I have purchased the parts already, I was hoping to find a shop that would make this change for me. Youtube video in the product page to explain more about it. These are sealed units that are nearly impossible to change, this kit makes it easier to access to and change.

Thanks for any suggestions. I'm guessing the name brand shops wouldn't touch this.

Weekend Upsets with WrestleStat - Week 2 2020

Holy smokes! What a weekend!

Since we've been running this site, I'm not sure we've ever had a weekend of upsets quite like this.

At the top of our list this week, #68 Aaron Bolo knocked off #2 Kyle Conel of Penn State. Watching the match, it definitely looked like Conel tweaked his knee in the 3rd period. Hope he's not out for an extended period of time. Also, in the Virginia Tech vs Ohio State dual, where Virginia Tech got the upset, #21 Brent Moore upset and pinned #2 Sammy Sasso. Also, #5 Mason Parris continues his impressive start to the season knocking off #3 Matt Stencel of Central Michigan. Parris is absolutely a force and has finalist written all over him.

Here's the rest of our upsets from the weekend:

OT: Cord cutting questions

I am sure there are numerous threads on this so I apologize in advance.

We currently have Xfinity but our monthly plan is ridiculous. We pay $130 for the plan for internet and cable but with fees and taxes and DVR etc it's $215 a month!

One of the main reasons we have the channel package we have is that it includes ESPNU and ESPNNews. The channel lineup below our package does not. Given so many ISU games might be on those two channels I didn't want to not have those as an option. But our monthly payment is stupid.

My question is this: If we purchased ESPN+ would that include ESPNU and ESPNNews or are we just **** out of luck and we have to keep our current channel lineup as is? Maybe YouTubeTV is the best option? Anyone used that?

ISU vs Iowa

Time to move on from Bucknell and on to Iowa. Last year, ISU took Iowa to the brink in Iowa City. This year, Iowa will be looking to get some revenge in Ames. There should be several competitive matchups, but ISU would need almost every thing to fall their way to make this a close dual. Here are my thoughts.

125 - Lee is just on another planet than Mackall. However, he still seems to not be able to wrestle a hard 7 minutes. I think this will be very similar to last year. Lee jumps out to a big early lead in the first. Very important that Mackall survives the 1st period onslaught without giving up the pin or tech. Mackall picks up a TD and some riding in the 3rd but Lee gets the major. 4-0 Iowa.

133 - not sure if will be Teasdale or Glynn, but I’m taking either by decision over Small. If it was Desanto I’d pick a tech. 7-0 Iowa

141 - I think that Parker is a very tough matchup for Desanto. He won’t tire and can wrestle the whole 7, and is disciplined enough to stay away from the dump/firemans. Also, he is a tough rider and Desanto is undersized. I take Parker by a 1 point win. 7-3 Iowa.

149 - early td or 2 for Lugo, but Degen is going to push the pace. Degen forces some scrambles and gets some riding time in the third. Degen wins a decision by a score of 10-7. 7-6 Iowa

157 - marquee match of the night. Carr is the Uber talent. Junior world champ and bluest of the blue chip recruit. Young is a savy veteran who is a grinder. He is also a returning AA and ranked #2. Man, if Carr wins this it will be hard to keep the expectations in check. I have Young winning a low scoring match. 1 td and some riding time. 4-2. Iowa leads 10-6.

165 - Marinelli is every bit of his nickname, The Bull. Think he gets a fall here 16-6 Iowa.

174 - Kemerer is a hammer who likes to attack. Just too good for Coleman in every position. Kemerer gets the major close to a tech. 20-6 Iowa

184 - no clue what Iowa is doing at this weight. Nelson Brands (who wrestled Carr this summer at 163) just wrestled for Iowa in the dual. He is undersized, but very tough. Whether it’s Brands or Cash Wilke, I like Colbray by a close decision. 20-9 Iowa.

197 - Warner is a returning AA. I haven’t seen a ton from Shapiro yet, but know he’s not at this level. The only question will be how close can he keep it. Warner by major. 24-9 for Iowa.

285 - Cassiopi is an absolute stud who loves to put people on their back. He pinned Gremmel last year. I think this year Gremmel stays out of the exchanges in order to stay off his back. Cassiopi gets the decision. Final score 27-9 Iowa.

UNI vs IOWA

Put this in the wbb thread instead of in states rival to maybe decrease the troll factor. Uni took them to the wood shed caught just the end of it on the radio. Seems that poor shooting doomed Iowa both three pt and FG% were in the 30's, FT % in the 50's. Hope the Hawks shoot like that when they visit Hilton.

If anyone saw the game please post your thoughts just thought I'd start it since we play both teams this yr.

This week at “On That Note”

Hey all. This week’s topic for “On That Note”: favorite songs released from 2010 to 2019. We're giving advance notice to allow time to compile your song lists.

Please limit selections to music released during the 10-year window. Songs you encountered during the decade that were released prior to 2010 don't qualify.

REMINDER: Do NOT post song samples in this thread. Official thread launch is Tuesday night, in traditional OTN fashion.

Post game

Anyone have any video of them playing Sweet Caroline followed by Juicy Wiggle after the game? I found a one of just Juicy Wiggle, but it would be fun to see the whole thing.

Also, there's been a new song that they played after the second TD yesterday and they played after an Oklahoma State TD and I'm not a fan. Nothing good has come after that song... ;)

New Mexico family needs some help

If we are not allowed to post GoFundMe links then I apologize and a mod can delete this thread.

Carl Silva is the most amazing musician I have met (and that includes my guitar teacher, Glen Buxton). He put out albums on Columbia Records and Motown Records when he was younger and had several achievements, but nobody knows of him.

In the early 70's, Carl's first wife passed away and Carl gave up his career to raise their son. He married again years later and started performing again around the country but he never quite made it big.

Carl and his family are the kindest people you could ever meet and they could really use some help. Even if it's just sharing the link.

Thanks for reading.
