Yormark just bombed ND!!!!

Yeah but BYU would need to beat TT in the Championship. If BYU Loses to Tech again they don't deserve to be in/
Tech losing once sucks, otherwise BYU losing twice to them would be fine. Weird to say losing twice to a natty contender gets you in the playoffs to contend for a natty, but they deserve it over these other teams that will get in.

The committee has said teams shouldnt be penalized for playing the championship game.

Also, it seems like if your only loss is to the conference champion, losing again to the conference champion should be basically treated as one loss.

The CFP, I mean the SEC, I mean ESPN when they hear this.

The committee was also talking about the Big 10 and SEC. The Big 12? They'll get their one bid and like it.

They did beat dominate USC, and smoked Pitt. I mean, what has BYU done that is so much better?

Notre Dame's only "advantage" was playing their two toughest opponents first, and not losing since.

This is in order of opponent record:

BYU (10-1)Notre Dame (9-2)
Texas Tech10-1Texas A&M11-1
Utah10-2Miami9-2
Arizona9-3Navy9-2
Iowa State7-4Pittsburgh8-3
TCU7-4USC8-3

UCF5-6Stanford4-7
West Virginia4-7Syracuse3-8

Portland StateFCSBoston College1-10

Only lost once.

They have to play tech much closer in the rematch if they want any chance of getting in. Another blowout and they've got no shot.

It's already a longshot but at the very least they need to show that they can compete with a playoff team.

It’s great Yormark is publicly trying to persuade opinions that the big 12 deserves 2 spots in the CFP, but let’s be real: that’s part of his job. Every commissioner is looking out for the best interests of its members

Yeah, but this is new for our conference.
