If you consider the "greatest guy they have" the guy that has to have everyone else in the Authority fight for him because he can't stand alone, and then talk about how great he is.
I love a good heel. I hate a whiny *****. Rollins is the latter.

It's part of the story. He is great on the mic. One of the best if not THE best wrestler they have and is easily the top heel. Since they don't want there top face(Daniel Bryan) near the main title picture, he is the best possible person to hold the title outside of Lesnar.

I kinda expected Rollins to Cash in but not in the middle of the match. I think that was officially the first cash in in the middle of the match.

Eh I agree with all that except I'd say he's adequate on the mic. After hearing Rock again tonight, I get kinda sad just how far off a lot of these guys are on the mic.
It's sad when your best mic guy on your day to day roster is a promoter.
Before the last match this was a 7/10 rating. The ending made it finish at 8 or 8.5.

I'm still stoked that they ended it that way. I thought for sure Reigns was going to kick out and then spear Rollins to win the title. Thank god Vince and co at least for this match, had the brains to not put the belt on Roman. Now as for that HHH vs Sting match...
What I didn't understand about that Sting/Triple H match...
When did they announce that it was a No-DQ match?
I'd say my favorite moment was the two guys acting shocked after Rollins won the title and then the guy behind just saying "What'd I miss?"

A few random thoughts:
My guess is when Vince approached Sting he probably told them their idea on how they will use him and Sting said okay. I bet he had no problem getting back into the spotlight and making some cash. I really don't think it's a WCW thing at all other than part of the storyline.
I really don't like Rusev simply because he doesn't do it for me. However, I'm sick of Cena and the way he never gets guys over or won't go heel. I wish Rusev would have won clean.
To me, Undertaker looked better than last year, and while his wrestling isn't what it used to be, was damn fun to watch one of my all time favorites go at it. Glad he beat Bray. I'll give Bray credit as he had to carry the promos and his promo last Monday was solid. However, you have to let Undertaker win that.
No clue why Big Show wins that other than WWE throwing him a bone for his longevity. At least we got to see Mizdow throw out the Miz.
Love the bit with Rock and Rousy. WWE is not just wrestling, it's alo the promos/mic moments as well. That was especially fun if you've been following those guys over the years.

As much as I rip on WWE, I give them props for delivering on the MITB cash-in. During the match...brilliant. WWE finally figured out it wasn't the right time for Reigns. I can't wait to see where Heyman/Brock go from here.

I will probably get blasted for this but sting hhh was the worst match of the night and it was because they brought all the other guys out. I love Scott hall but he should be no where near a ring. All that match did was show how old those guys are. Sting could barely bend he knees enough to make the scorpion death lock look real. I'm sick of the wwe incessant need to get over by using nostalgia for a cheap pop. I don't need to see hulk in the ring anymore. I also didn't like Bray losing to undertaker. What does it do for his character? He has now had two big fueds at wrestlmania and lost both. One of your top future guys is now 0-2 at the biggest event you put on. Way to build him up as a monster. I loved the main event I know most don't like reigns but that was a hell of a match. I bet we don't see Lesnar till summerslam. Also stop trying to compare the young guys mic work to the rocks. The rock has been doing this for over 15 years plus he is a Hollywood actor. The new guys will never get to be as good as him if they don't get the chance. Also Seth Rollins is one of the best heels the company has had for a long time.
I agree with a lot of what you said. Sting losing still doesn't sit well with me and while it seems like we witnessed Sting get the same treatment that the former WCW and ECW wrestlers did when they jumped ship it actually isn't. WWE and Sting probably sat down at some time and discussed what they each wanted to do for Wrestlemania and Sting probably agreed to take the loss, unlike guys like RVD, Booker T, and Scott Steiner who wouldn't have had a choice in the matter when they first arrived in WWE after the fall of WCW and ECW. I still don't really like it too much but I feel a bit better about it now thinking about that.
I called that Cena would be the first to defeat Rusev since he started his undefeated streak. I've seen this story enough to know. I'm not a huge Rusev fan either but Cena doesn't need protecting and didn't need to knock off Rusev. Unless Cena starts losing 5 minute matches to NXT call ups he will always be considered a main eventer and there isn't much of a reason for him not to put over some new talent. WWE is going crazy with trying to fix the midcard so maybe that has something to do with Cena and Bryan winning last night too.
I agree Taker needed to win. A 2nd straight loss would have really hurt his legacy. Sucks for Bray but that's what needed to happen.
I thought pretty hard about Big Show winning again this morning and the only conclusion I could come to is that he may be retiring soon and WWE wanted to give him something to thank him on his way out. There aren't too many storylines that can come out of this and this wasn't something done to pop the crowd since Show is a heel that gets mainly a heel reaction.
The Rock and Rousey segment was pretty entertaining. I wonder if they added some time to it because of Bray's injury before the show. The segment seemed to last for a while longer than I expected it to.
Rollins cashing in saved Wrestlemania for me. I was pretty bummed that Sting lost and in all honesty was getting a little bored with the 3 matches I cared about the most coming up as the first 3 matches overall. Taker and Bray got me a little reinterested and Reigns vs. Lesnar really woke me up. The physicality of their match was pretty refreshing and I bought into it more than I expected I would. I remember predicting way back in September that Rollins would cash in on Reigns or Lesnar in the main event of Wrestlemania but I was still pretty excited that it happened.
For a final note, did anyone notice that there seemed to be an awful lot of mishaps with the camera work? One camera guy fell over during the ladder match from being too close to Bryan and Ziggler, another was blocking Stardust later in the match, and then someone else happened to run through the smoke during Undertaker's entrance. I'm not sure what was going on because WWE is normally close to perfect with this kind of stuff but I bet someone got their butts chewed after the show ended.
Rock was amazing on mic 15 years ago. You either have it or you don't. Good mic skills can make up for average wrestling.
Sting never bent his knees much for the Scorpion Death Lock - go check the "Sharpshooter" page on Wikipedia. It's one of the primary differences between Bret Hart's version and Sting's - Hart went much deeper. In fact, in the second Death Lock, Sting was practically sitting on HHH much deeper than he normally goes.
My biggest problem with the match was Vince using the opportunity to **** on the WCW grave one last time. It wasn't the fact that HHH won, it was the DX/nWo circuis side show that went along with it. I know people were wondering what the hell the handshake at the end of the match was, that was nothing more than him breaking kayfabe. He has a big track record of doing so, and that looked like a very public "Welcome to the WWE" imo.
and 12 hours later, I'm a lot better with the Seth Rollins outcome. Now if Nikki Bella would just drop the Divas title to Paige tonight, that would be great.
