WWE WrestleMania 34 Weekend Thread

Holy crap! Strong turned on Dunne and aligned with Undisputed Era! They keep the tag titles and are Dusty winners.
 
Totally forgot about the Hall of Fame being Friday night. Only speech I've seen is the Dudleys and I loved it. Among my favorite induction speeches of all time.
 
Going back to the Dudleys I loved their singling out Tommy Dreamer. Dudleys are the first ECW original act to get in and with their title pedigree it's deserved but truth be told the first ECW original in should of been Tommy. He was the heartbeat of the original ECW.
 
Triple H just put out the warning: “if you didn’t like Ciampa tonight, you’re really not going to like what’s next.”
 
Okay I've watched the whole HOF induction. Top 3 of the night and hard to rank them were Dudleys, Jeff Jarrett and Mark Henry. Dudley's speech had it all while Jarrett's and Henry's were filled with lots of emotion.

Ivory's was bat-**** crazy and Goldberg's was vary bizarre at times but when your job is to have 2 minute matches and speak very little, giving a long speech isn't his forte.

Also shout out to Diana Warrior, to have to speak at the place where Ultimate Warrior did just 4 years ago and his soon passing had to be amazingly tough but she handled it like well a Warrior.
 
Pumped for tonight. Gonna pick up the WWE Network for this month. Already used my free trial, but 10 bucks is more or less like going to a movie anymore and the off the beaten path places to stream it aren't reliable.


Predictions:

Andre the Giant Battle Royale: Elias

Women's Battle Royale: Ruby Riott (Complete guess as I don't follow the women matches closely)

Cruiserweight Championship: Mustafa Ali

Intercontinental Championship: Miz (of course not clean). This allows Rollins to be freed up to go to Smackdown.

US Championship: Rusev

Women's Raw Championship: Nia Jax

Women's Smackdown Championship: Asuka

Raw Tag Team Championship: Braun and whoever the hell he picks

Smackdown Tag Team Championship: The New Day

WWE Championship: Shinsuke over Styles (Really enjoy both of these guys so this will be a treat to watch)

WWE Universal Championship: It's going to be (puke) Reigns.

Angle/Rousey vs. Triple H/ Stephanie McMahon: I think it's hard to see a scenario having Rousey lose so early in her WWE career. However, my gut still says to go with HHH/Stephanie.

Daniel Bryan/Shane vs. Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn: Bryan/Shane. My guess is Owens and Zayn take some time off then go to RAW.


If any of my predictions are off based on spoilers we already know, please don't spoil me! :)

All of that NXT awesomeness only to get ***** slapped tonight by a Roman Reigns title win. The only thing worse is if Cena gets added to that match and wins the title.

Andre the Giant Battle Royale: Doesn't really matter to me, but Elias is as good as any and better than most

Women's Battle Royale: Carmella - give her some extra, instant cred for when she cashes in and fails on either Charlotte or Asuka later in the evening

Cruiserweight Championship: Mustafa Ali - only because of the extra promo work they've been giving him the last several weeks. Otherwise my instincts would have me go with Cedric Alexander here.

Intercontinental Championship: Seth Rollins. He's the only SHIELD member that isn't a Triple Crown/Grand Slam winner and they need to rectify that. Plus he still has several weeks before he (supposedly) moves over to SDL and, assuming there isn't a title exchange with the UST and he takes the ICT with him, he can lose it either back to Miz or Finn Balor between now and then. Miz is probably going on a brief paternity hiatus anyway so there's no need for him to hold it right now. Besides, with Daniel Bryan finally being cleared, he's probably going to move to SDL anyway so they can FINALLY pay off that feud.

US Championship: I want it to be Rusev, so I'm going to do the obvious thing and pick Randy Orton.

Women's Raw Championship: Nia Jax

Women's Smackdown Championship: Asuka

Raw Tag Team Championship: Braun and whoever the hell he picks. It sounds like both Cesaro and Sheamus may be moving to SDL - assuming Sheamus doesn't decide to retire. His body is beginning to break down on him.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship: Bludgeon Brothers

Angle/Rousey vs. Triple H/ Stephanie McMahon: Angle/Rousey. With the exception of WM Play Button, Haitch is in the phase of his career where he puts babyfaces over at the biggest show of the year.

Daniel Bryan/Shane vs. Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn: Owens/Zayn. I saw someone else's prediction online that this is where Shane-O-Mac turns heel, allowing Owens and Zayn to win, because secretly Shane still blames Bryan for even being in this position with Owens and Zayn in the first place. The rumor is centered around the fact that Shane should be leaving soon.

WWE Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura. AJ needs to drop the title before he moves over to Raw.

Roman Reigns vs Brock Lensar: Roman Reigns. I'll be booing with everyone else, but at least it gets Brock "the 'F' out" of WWE (to borrow the Ruthless Aggression/company name change ad campaign - Get the 'F' out"

Lol, you know so much more than me behind the scenes its like a spoiler when you're not even trying to :)....also I agree with the Miz/Rollins take after reading what you say.
