Link must be broke, because the article it took me too, actually pretty much credited ISU with a a brilliant game plan. So much so that WV spent a couple of weeks working on how to deal with that type of defense going forward

I guess I didn't see any problem with that article. Texas copied us, wasn't successful. Holgerson said nobody will run it as well as ISU. End of story. Grier had no answer.

Dana is kind of pissed off about what ISU did to them, and I can understand why. To think that they have all the answers for the ISU defense now is just silly. Yeah, TX tried to copy it, and it didn't work well. Kind of a lot to ask of a team to make a big change in their defense in the middle of the season and have it all work out right. TX has more highly touted players, but they are certainly not as disciplined.

WVU won on a desperation pass where the safety lost deep coverage with seconds left in the game. Not that ISU hasn't done that before, but pretty lucky everything fell into place too.
