Man, it’d sure be nice to have Gomez. Not that I disagree with the way with how that situation was handled, but imagine him at 149. Just a bummer.
Him beating Sasso for the 149 Big10 title last year was awesome.

The 285 story. Duggan was a little dinged up early, then Schon sprained his ankle in the 29 second fall. Schon is Out for about 3 weeks. Also is doing great with grades now, but had some work to do to get eligible, so won’t compete until 2nd semester.

Thanks for this. It'll be my first time attending if I can make it over there and I wasn't sure at all what to expect.
The grades thing makes sense, and I had that thought. You don’t want an ineligible guy winning wrestle offs than having to field questions about that.
hope someone will be posting about the matches - wife's flight from Dallas was canceled have to pick her up in Quad Cities
