Worst team since 2016

I'm skeptical on Orange. He doesn't take over games and that is what the NFL looks for.

Enyi Uwazurike absolutely dominated games via tackles for loss, sacks, etc. Dom Orange has not done that consistently here as an interior DL.

Kooper Ebel may be the only defensive player right now that's a legitimate NFL prospect.

Ebel might play Sundays like Hummel I think, lots of special teams snaps

2022 was already worse than this year could be. Might as well wait until this game is over before we overreact.

2022 we played a much much tougher schedule and we will only end with 2 more wins this year. Maybe only 1. So I think it’s safe to say we were better that year

We're just consistently below average in every respect this year. Offense, defense and special teams. Coaching and execution. There is nothing/no one doing their jobs well right now. Some of you will be biased against the offense or the defense or certain players or coaches, but there isn't anyone consistently carrying the torch right now.

That doesn't mean I think we need to give up or burn it all down. But this just isn't a good program right now. The first half against BYU was a manic spasm but it looks like thats over. I'm usually pretty optimistic but after looking mediocre in 2 of our 5 wins and now 4 losses I'm ready for next season.

He’s being asked to take on double teams every down and he still finds a way to make plays and gum up the middle. He’s nowhere near the problem here

I'll hang around and watch. But I no longer think 8-4 is realistic, 6-6 is kind of the new goal which is incredibly sobering

Is there optimism for next year? I think we bring several players back which will help (hopefully), were not starting over. We need a #1 receiver badly.

I think most of the money spent in the portal should go on the defensive side of the ball.

This is easily the worst football team I’ve seen since 2016. Not a single NFL player on either side of the ball. Awful execution and focus in all three phases of the game.

Strangely the best unit on the team this year is the O line. Clanton you’ve done a good job.

Mouser should not have an OC job next year. His passing schemes are incredibly simplistic and rely on having NFL receivers.

Problem is, what improvement can we make? There isn’t any talent on the 2 deeps on either side of the ball, and we cannot poach any good players (see Chase Sowell, lol what a waste of money). Try to keep the OL and ditch the rest I suppose.

Very disappointed right now and so thankful basketball starts next week. Disagree on the worst team part though. Injuries changed the whole entire season. Also there is quite a few nfl players on this roster, they just aren’t being utilized appropriately imo. Orange would do a lot better if we brought more pressure as one example. Guaranteed he will be in the NFL after this year
