But that’s what makes them bad. I mean I get why people drink cheap mass produced beer when they’re young, I definitely drank my share back in the day, but now that I can afford good craft beer I hardly ever drink the cheap stuff.
It’s like comparing a plain McDonald’s hamburger to a big juicy bacon double cheeseburger from your favorite local restaurant. I’ll eat the plain burger if it’s my only option and I’m really hungry but every other time I’m taking the fresh local burger.
To each their own though, you can definitely save a ton of money by drinking the cheap stuff and like someone mentioned up thread, sometimes when working outside on a hot day a nice cold cheap beer hits the spot.
I'm a huge craft beer fan, but sometimes I want to have a few and I can't really drink more than 1 or 2 IPAs in a sitting anymore. There are a lot of situations where I go back towards light beers these days.
