Anything from Minhas Brewing needs to be on that list. Not just bland, but downright offensive tasting.
I'm drinking on an 8 pack of Lazy Mutt Farmhouse ale right now. I don't think it's the worst beer I've had. But certainly won't be buying it again for any reason I can think of (it is very cheap).

Some of the worst rated are the best selling beers in the world lol. Heineken is absolutely a beer I wouldn't drink for free.

Yeah a lot of the beers on this list are just your average drinkers. Nothing terrible about them but they don't have flavor profiles etc...

The generic beer in black lettering on white in cans was some ROUGH drinking beer. That stuff had to come from the end of the run when the merged all the vats together. LOL.

Fun place to visit though. Although I guess that's true for all of Wisconsin

Years ago the generic beer was brewed by Falstaff I think. It wasn't really that bad. Just a light lager that was easy to drink on a hot summer day. Always bought the bottles for the Concentration puzzles under the cap. Good times.

It's cool to **** on the mass produced Miller Lites, Bud Lights, etc. but they aren't that bad - they just lack flavor. Old English or Beer 30 or Milwaukee's Best Ice being a better ranked beer than the American basic beers like Miller Lite shows that. I'd drink Miller or Michelob Ultra 100x over any of those 3.

Agree 100% and those Ultras go down really easy on 90 degree days.

The mass produced beer gets bagged on, but they literally sell billions of them.

Bud Select is a pretty damn good beer for sitting at the ballpark watching baseball.

On another point, I like smoked foods. I find the smoky flavor profile is very tasty. I was intrigued a while back to see an award-winning smoked beer (I don’t remember the name at all, this was years ago, but it had won prizes at some smoked beer contest somewhere) for sale at HyVee. So I bought a bottle.

One sip and down the drain that went. It was like the scene in Elf when Buddy spritzes the fruit-scented body spray in his mouth.

Agreed. There's absolutely no honest beer fan that would rather drink Beer 30 over a Budweiser.

But that’s what makes them bad. I mean I get why people drink cheap mass produced beer when they’re young, I definitely drank my share back in the day, but now that I can afford good craft beer I hardly ever drink the cheap stuff.

It’s like comparing a plain McDonald’s hamburger to a big juicy bacon double cheeseburger from your favorite local restaurant. I’ll eat the plain burger if it’s my only option and I’m really hungry but every other time I’m taking the fresh local burger.

To each their own though, you can definitely save a ton of money by drinking the cheap stuff and like someone mentioned up thread, sometimes when working outside on a hot day a nice cold cheap beer hits the spot.
