Going to make another post just for this one too as I am sure there will be mixed opinions on it. I find it funny and will still watch it when its on but it was a dumb movie: Idiocracy

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was my favorite Tarantino film. Pitt and DiCaprio absolutely kill it. And the ending is *chef’s kiss*

Independence Day was a fun 90s movie, so it’s best if viewed through that lens. Suspension of disbelief is a responsibility of the audience.

Two worst films I’ve seen are Batman and Robin and a documentary called What the Bleep Do We Know. The latter of which’s creator ended up in a cult

OUaTiH is great...and Brad Pitt is the reason! His character is just outstanding and he plays it perfect!

The American (2010)

With George Clooney

Wife and I were in the 60% that stayed for the end.

We all just thought it would get better.

Everyone actually kind of laughed as we were walking out about how terribly awful it was.

I went to see it with a buddy. After about an hour of being confused and having no ******* idea what it was really about or how anything was connected, I assure my buddy "it has to tie in at that end...the reviews on this were pretty good and there's NO WAY they could have been that positive if this doesn't improve". After suffering through another hour (I think this POS was roughly 2 hours) the movie ends. Nothing was tied together, it's purpose was unclear, and we both felt like we had been scammed.

We leave and I encounter one of the unfortunate souls who paid for this travesty. We agreed it was one of the worst movies we'd seen and only stayed to figure out just WTF it was about. We both felt like idiots.

On one hand it was a terrible movie. On the other it was one of the most masterful con jobs I've ever seen. How they were able to create (any) positive publicity and prevent this from being a bomb is a mystery. Somehow this movie MADE money. How exactly? I have no idea.

I'm sure there are worse I haven't seen, but those I can remember:

The last "Star Trek" movie
The last "Jurassic Park" installment
The Day After Tomorrow
Rocky V
Sharky's Machine (Especially the way it ends)

Killer Clowns from outer space

Really bad take. It's a B movie through and through and the low brow humor is good at times.

Compared to some of these other trash movies (with huge budgets and stars) Killer Klowns shouldn't be here. Also had a Killer theme song to boot.

Which one? I saw the all girl remake and it was terrible. I have not seen the new one that looks like it's pretty decent in the trailers.

The one with the kids was actually very well done. Not exactly made in the same vein as the OG (more serious tone) but I was plesantly surprised.

Didn't waste my time with the female version as it simply looked terrible.

The one with the kids was better than I thought it would be.
They're making another one

Suddenly, Last Summer is an old enough movie that I am probably the only one who has seen it, and it was old then. Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor, Katharine Hepburn amongst others.

Back in the day when husband and I were just friends and not even dating then, and TV was the basic networks, they would put old movies on at night or on the weekends. He asked me what I did over the weekend, and I mentioned staying up too late watching a creepy movie with a dumb premise that I couldn’t quit watching for some reason. He had watched the same movie and immediately knew what I meant.

Made the year before even I was born, it has a bizarre premise and portrayal of homosexuality.

Lost in Translation with Bill Murray is easily my least favorite movie ever and I’m a huge fan of his comedy. It’s just horrible. It’s like watching a movie where people just talk and nothing ever happens. Then it ends.

Rocky 5 would be one of the worst but I think everyone has just agreed that the movie never really happened.
I liked Lost in Translation but I can see why people don't (my wife hated it). I just thought that the dialogue was pretty clever and the bond between the two was kind of unique.

Also, we were fairly new homeowners at the time and I could totally relate to the scene where his wife sent him all the carpet samples.
