If you have a Flo subscription, you need to watch Austin's first match in the finals. He was down 0-8 at the end of the first period coming inches from being tech'd. He then put on a furious rally to come back and win 11-8 with a 4 point move in the last 5 seconds. That type of non-stop motor is exactly what we need in our lineup!
Kyven advances to Final X. Beat Schafer in 1st match, then hurt Schafer’s knee & defaulted 2nd match.

Austin’s first match was awesome! The anticipation for him next year is well deserved.
And remember, Austin lost a tough series to McKee last year at the trials. McKee took 2nd in the world. Austin has a great shot to bring home a medal.

Guess I didn’t even consider he might leave. Seemes like a kid that really likes dresser and metcalf.
Backes and Gallick both made junior word teams and Gallick won the university worlds. Both Paulson’s made Sr world teams just outside of college and we all know where Varner landed a few years out. Thought Zach Roberson and Reader made teams as well but couldn’t recall.
For the first time in 10 plus years ISU is getting top notch college talent back on the map. I would not be surprised to see 3 or more university world team memebers in 2019.
Reader was also a mainstay on the international circuit as he is a two-time World Team member. A member of the University World Team in both 2010 and 2012, he represented the U.S. at the 2012 University World Championship in Kuortane, Finland. Reader also won the 2012 Hari Ram Grand Prix gold medal at 84 kg.
