I still think this is a tourney team, the question marks I have aren't really with our squad. I think we know what we are getting but it's tough to tell how good the bottom half of the league will be. Tech, TCU and even K State have looked better than the past plus OU and Texas should improve as the year goes on. Today I think we are better than all of those teams but who knows, there aren't a ton of quality wins from that group.

Still think we have the talent to finish above .500 in Big 12 play which would be a lock. If we end up going 9-9 or worse, it will really depend on where the wins come from and what we do in the Big 12 Tourney.

Yes, I believe we will. I also think it is stupid to say the first four games don't count as making the tournament. They may not be the same as being in the round of 64, but they are obviously part of the NCAA tournament as it is clearly defined.

Yes, but I'm voting with my heart. If they can find a way to go 9-9 in conference plus a win over Vandy or a deep run in the conference tournament I think that would do it, but a couple of those conference wins would have to carry some clout. That means beating Baylor, KU or WVU. And I just don't know if this team can pull it off.

I voted yes - I trust our seniors to pull their heads out of their buttts and I REALLY trust the coaching. I REALLY, REALLY trust our coaching.

And if we were to review our history, we are known for slow starts and fast finishes. Can't remember how many fans we've lost through the years based on a sloppy early season game.

We are a senior laden team working in some key new parts. We WILL be better through the conference season.

Have you watched Vanderbilt this year?

Nope. My predictions are based entirely on what I've seen out of ISU this season. IMO, we don't have the tools to have success on the road this season.

I'm sure there will be a night or two when Thomas/Long are both hot and we'll blitz someone on their own court but I don't expect it to be the norm.

I voted yes, based on the fact we will win the conference tourney and get the automatic bid. This team is a tough match up in a tourney, will be a tough conference schedule.

Anything 9-9 and better we are in, regardless. So I am not too worried. But have to take care of business against the lesser teams. Because we will be hard pressed to beat Baylor, WVU, and KU.
