I read a term today that really hits it on the head - covid protocal and beliefs are "a developing science." Even the experts disagree. What results is a huge inconvenience of a "developing science." Experts and normal people glob onto the science they want to support and have firm beliefs. Both sides grab the research to help them justify their decisions. Nothing shocking - just simple.

Our power 5 conferences did just that - all have access to similar information and three went one way and two went the other way.

The thing is, if we lose even one coach or player (not ISU but all of college football that plays this year), then the Big 10 probably made the correct decision.

I don't think they found crack doctors by any means, but it's easy to get someone to say what you want if you pay them enough. It's no different than a trial where both sides bring in "experts" that say completely opposite things about the same issue.

I'm pretty sure, correct me if I'm wrong, but that waiver does not include NCAA sporting activities for athletes participating in them. The athletes part in the headline is for when they are in class and on campus for other activities.

If Penn St. wants to say it includes sporting activities, which I don't think it does, a plaintiff can point out the NCAA ruling and that will likely take precedence.

It doesn't have to. You must be a student to play Penn State sports, all students are required to follow or be penalized.

Here is one Barrier Rutgers would face if the Big 10 reversed its decision. Visiting teams from certain Big 10 states would have to undergo a 14 day quarantine and the team would have to undergo a 14 day quarantine if returning from one of those states.

In the wake of COVID-19, travelers visiting New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut from certain states around the country will be required to quarantine for two weeks upon arrival.​

States that have a “high infection rate” of COVID-19 or any state with an infection rate of more than 10 per 100,000 residents on a seven-day rolling average are included on the list. The rule applies to travelers that arrive via any mode of transportation.​

THIS x 1 million. They don't have answers anymore, so they just resort to name calling. I mean, it's freaking Mayo Clinic! 1 of the top medical facilities in the world. They are so mad there is a football season I'm convinced they want it and the Cyclones to fail. They will get zero enjoyment out of any Cyclone win. Sucks to be them.
