Will a broken Penix help ISU FB?

  • After Iowa State won the Big 12, a Cyclone made a wonderful offer to We Will that now increases our match. Now all gifts up to $400,000 between now and the Final 4 will be matched. Please consider giving at We Will Collective.

IU is a team we probably should be ahead of, and hopefully WILL be by the end of the year, in the Playoff ranking. Will this be the week we make the jump? Their QB is/was pretty good. He might remind some folks of a poor man's Seneca Wallace (I read that somewhere, not my original thought, and EDIT: also not very accurate)

Penix has 25 yards on 18 attempts, I dont think the Wallace comparison is a good one.

well, we don't exactly know how poor this 'man' in the comparison was...

i had read earlier in the year how he was a dual-threat earlier, but just seeing passing highlights against OSU, where he was pretty good:

Indiana would have been better last year if the coach didn’t jerk penix around so much. Heard they prescribed him some viagra for his leg on accident.
