The thing is that we have 2 open scholarships for 07 and that is with AT getting one. My gut feeling is that we will get one more guy for 07 and save the other scholarship for 08.

I agree and think we are getting one more guy, but let's get one that can contribute...otherwise there is no point in not banking the scholarship.
Looks like he made the all-district team while average almost 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks per game.

I'd rather get Vette than him just because Vette is an Iowa kid and whatnot.
About banking a scholarship for the '08 season, we'd have six scholarships to offer then. I think 5 is enough guys to bring in in one year as it is. I have no problem bringing in one more.

Exactly!! Who knows how long this guy has actually been playing organized ball. Has any one on this message board seen the guy play? Or are you just going off of a recruiting service profile that doesn't say a whole lot. Maybe GMAC sees some potential.
Just because we're bringing him in doesn't mean we offer or he accepts! Let's wait and see what the coaches think before we jump to conclusions.
