Who would you delete?

If you could delete one person or group(not including politicians) from coming up on any news feed, social media site, article, recommendation, etc.. when you're on the web who would it be?

I think mine would be Taylor Swift. I've never clicked on anything related to her in my life, but it seems like half of what I see involves her in some way or another.

I don’t think my algorithm sends me any Taylor Swift? Until now of course, since I opened this thread. Thanks.

I think for me it’d be Pat McAfee. Since my algorithm is mostly sports, someone thinks I want to see what he thinks. And they’re wrong.

Timothy Chalamet.

The further I've gotten from the Dylan movie the more I don't like his portrayal.

Same goes for his Willy Wonka a while ago.

You've opened yourself up to a world of important information. My inspiration for this thread was being informed today that Taylor is going have Steven Speilberg photograph her wedding.

Hacks trying to play expert.

That is probably more general than you wanted, but my feed isn’t particularly stable with the types of things I get.

I’m on the fence about the AI-generated 7 foot tall women I’m getting lately.

Yeah, I'd end up choosing McAfee too.

My final list ended up being Cody Campbell, Paul Feinbaum, Dave Portnoy, Colin Cowherd, and Pat McAfee. Campbell's probably relevant enough to college football that I kind of need to know what he's doing, and of the rest, McAfee is the one that is hardest to avoid.

Any news link that leads me to a paywall.

Yeah, DM Reg, this means YOU.

Annnnd
...The Daily Beast, also But I've discovered a workaround.

Take whatever headline they want you to pay 29 bucks for, copy and paste it into Google and it will usually pop up for free on Yahoo! News.

You're welcome.

I'd go with anyone who says "my algorithm." Most misused term on the internet and disrespectful to Jim Lathrop who teaches the hardest course I took in college. Com Sci 311.

Is there a better term for how social media decides whether or not I want to see Taylor Swift news? Cause I’d be more than happy to use proper terms.
