When I mention I'm an Iowa State fan, Seneca is one of the top responses I get (behind Hoiberg). College football fans remember him. Just in the last couple of months, I've heard him mentioned on Russillo's podcast and Pardon My Take, the top sports podcast in the country.

My scenario had Fred Hoiberg giving up the honorary mayoral key to Ames because of conflicts of interest to Lee Corso, and then Lee Corso going nuts doing a local tour (things like playing the campanile, jumping into Lake Laverne, driving a Union Pacific train through Ames, driving a huge tractor or combine then driving a "Green Acres style" John Deere model D steel wheel tractor, etc) finally ending up sitting with Ashton Kutcher, Hoiberg, Corso, Elijah Wood (dressed as Frodo Baggins) and Lara Flynn Boyle, (or perhaps Michelle Monaghan) at the top of the watertower where Fred and Lee discuss game day picks and with Tom Arnold (in his boxer shorts) and perhaps Hayden Fry and Shawn Johnson on the ground throwing rocks at them.
