Absolutely loved the helmets today. Am I the only one who thinks white helmets should be our default lids? Put whatever logo you want on them- think they look so nice on top of any color uniform.

I don’t think we need a default helmet at all. Why not wear the red 5 times, white 5 times, black once, chrome red once or something.

I kept having to remind myself that the team in black and white making a big play was a good thing.
Would a little Cardinal tracery on the logo be such a difficult thing? Black and white was bland.
Am I seeing this rigjt? Looks like tOSU is wearing black—and had the sense to include their primary school color with it.
I think our cardinal lids should be our defaults for as long as Iowa State football exists, I do think they need a different logo. Something about the different shades on the logo and the shiny on shiny just throws me off. I think a gold stencil logo would look amazing.
Bunch of old white farts in this thread. Recruits love it and that will only help this program going forward.
I wasn't a fan but whatever. It's a uniform. Keep playing like that and they can wear hot pink for all I care.
I agree, looked a lot like Penn State which I actually think is fantastic. Love Penn State’s uniforms.
