He could still be on vacation. He was out of the office on Monday - so My guess is that he's still on vacation til the weekend or at least Monday...

Agreed - Kind of the point of a "Vacation" - to get away from all the technology **** - emails, phone calls, facebook, etc. Sit on the beach, grab a drink, relax with the family. I'm sure he'll address whatever he has to address when he gets back.

not a slam dunk. if he is in the "bush" up north, cell phones wont work.

LOL. When somene mentioned fishing, I thought of the trips I made to Quetico Proincial Park in Canada. 10 day trip fishing and canoeing. 7 days away from civilization. No TV, no phones, nothing. The golf course I worked at flooded, as did our basement. No one had anyway to get ahold of me and everything was cleaned up by the time I got back.

He caught it... about 3 feet out of bounds. I remember watching the highlights and it wasn't even close. It may have looked so from his vantage point, but he was way out.
His beef was "it wasn't reviewed". What he didn't know was they did look at it and it was so clear and quick that they didn't have to buzz the officials on the field. Game over.
That's true, but he also thought the ball really was caught in the endzone for a touchdown.
I'm not disagreeing with you. We are in heated agreement. :wink: He just kept saying "we have review in college football and I never got a review so the game is not over".

I would like to hear Pollard address why they didn't get a team of facility guys in Hilton to disassemble the floor and move it to the concourse level. Seems like there was sufficient time to do that once it became clear there was a strong liklihood that Hilton would take on water. There may have been a legitimate reason but I would at least like to hear what it was. I hope the answer is that no one thought about it, or they didn't want to wake people up in the middle of the night. $100k warrants some extreme measures in my opinion. Has anyone heard this question addressed?

Thanks for pointing that out. I had read the first post in that thread and when coupled with the title of the thread, I assumed the entire thread would be about what might happen to the floor now that it is damaged. As many threads do, it meandered into a different focus. Again, thanks for pointing that out.
I am still interested in hearing Jamie address what did/didn't happen and what disaster plans are in place. Hopefully we'll hear from him at some point in the near future.
