Where are some good fish fry's?

Anyone have any recs for a fish fry in or around Dubuque (into Wisconsin too)? My girlfriend and I are looking for a good one. We were thinking of just driving up around Madison for one on Friday. Any ideas of something closer? Hole in the wall type place?
Dyersville is ridiculously catholic, I bet there is something there.

You're in the most Catholic town in Iowa, on the border of Wisconsin, in the Driftless Area.

This is ground zero for Iowa fish fries.

You won't be able to swing a dead cat without hitting one, and it will probably be excellent. Go to some podunk town like Sherrill, Balltown, Millville, etc. Or anywhere on the Wisconsin side.

Thumbs in Ames is having a fish fry April 20th 4PM-8PM. Presented by Deschutes Brewery and is a charity event for Muscular Dystrophy Association

"Once again it's that time of year to come down to Thumbs and enjoy some fried fish and Deschutes Beer. Just like last year the charity we are supporting is the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We will be passing around a firefighter boot for "Fill the Boot" all free will donations. The first batch of fish will be released to grease at about 4pm. Rain or shine. We encourage people to bring sides if you like but not mandatory. More updates on possible other sponsors in the future. Also if you would like to donate but can't make the event we will be happy to accept you donation. Can't wait to see everyone!"

Have you been to Jericho Jo's for fish? I've heard it's really good.

Not for fish, but it's a fun bar. Might be a worthy candidate for tonight.

The Firmean's Inn in Ridgeway reopened in October, fully renovated with good food and a surprisingly good beer selection. They're doing fish tonight so might hit that as well. Kendallville, Granger, and Saratoga all have good ones too.

I've stopped several times in Jericho and her food is excellent. I've just never had the fish.

Nobody in NC Iowa does one that I know of. Or if they do, they don’t advertise worth crap.

On the Hook food trucks. Tried them wed nite really good fish and fries for 12 bucks. Looks like they are at the Johnston Walgreen's 6200 merle hay rd from 11-7 tonight.
