What's happened in CA?

They used to do a student voucher program for the Kansas game. Your season tickets would not come with a ticket for the Kansas game, but a voucher. A week or so before the game, all the students would wait in like at the usual ticket office and redeem their voucher for an actual ticket.

I would be willing to 100% fund a big head or the Georges if students need it. PM me and we'll make it happen.

But I want CA to be crazy every game, not only the rival games. There should never, ever be an open seat when ISU is a top 25 team.

Exactly.

Also, and more importantly, I am saddened to hear of this young man's passing. May he rest in peace. I will miss giant Georges' presence and this man's creativity and sense of humor.

It has seemed like the crowd has been a little more complacent and quiet over the past month (except for KU), which is surprising given our top 25 ranking and strong form.

We're acting like a crowd that is more worried about losing than fired up about getting a big win.

It's not that I was blaming the non attendance on overselling. I was saying the lack of excitement is because of overselling. Besides that the lack of attendance is because of overselling. It happened before to but that wasn't because people didn't want to go.

From actually being a student and hearing people that don't go it doesn't matter that there are actually open spots. They don't want to risk it for the big games and the price and hassle isn't worth it for them to go to the others.

I'm not saying it is a valid excuse I'm just telling you what their excuses are.

There also needs to be a penalty if you miss to many games or something.

What price? If you are talking actual cost, the money was already paid. If you are talking lost time on doing other things, that's a weak-*** excuse.

And what hassle? You have to stand in line for two games a year. The K-State and OU home games have proven you don't have to show up early to get a seat. If the other students don't understand that, I question their fandom.

Someone can use this for a sign if they want. I sit in the balcony where no one can see.

Duke students have to live in tents for days prior to games in order to get good seats, and our students are the ones complaining?

Pathetic.

Most of my friends weren't able to get the student tickets. They have to buy tickets for each game and most people will want at least around 15 for their ticket. They then have to meet up with the other person to get the ticket and stuff.

I'm not saying it is a valid excuse or anything I'm just telling you what they say.

The biggest problem is like one of my "friends" from high school. He honestly doesn't like sports but got the all sports pass. I think he used it for a couple football games and that is it. We need to get rid of those types of people because it is really hurting fan support. He doesn't even care about it enough to try and sell them. Sometimes one of my other friends from high school will take his ticket but that is it as far as I know. I would like to see a max of 5 games missed all year or you lose your tickets. Something like that.

I also know my other idea will never work, but I like it. I like the idea of assigned seats. I would rather sit at the very top for every game than wait in line for super good seats. It isn't too bad because people don't go but I would rather just know I have bad seats than have good seats for most games then sometimes have bad seats. I also think that this would increase the amount of unused seats that get sold. It would be easier and therefore people would get more value out of it. Whether this mindset is valid or not is up to you, but it is what it is.

It shouldn't be that hard to set up a good voucher system. Award points to the students for different ticket use. Set it up much like the donor level 'ranking system.' You get points for each game the season ticket is used. Maybe add some bonus points for low attendance games and some of the other sports pack ( VB, Wrestling, gymnastics) events.

Then tier a few days for the best used tickets to get priority seating for the Big games.

Yeah that's how they did it when I was there too it was the KU and Iowa game.
