Similar to Moberly I'd only pen a letter if I was staying. As a fan, I'm assuming the entire team is moving on.
I’d go against the grain and not post anything.
I’d actually probably be transparent like this too lol especially if I was 20 years old again.
(The getting stuck is realizing the grass isn't always greener like the plethora of players who realize the money, playing time, or overall happiness at a new school isn't there like they thought it automatically would be.)
*We only hear about the portal players who end up in better situations. It's never reported on the ones who have the exact opposite experience transferring.*

CycloneRulzzz, my respect for you is deathless, it seems to bind me with mighty chords (eh eh) that nothing but MeanDean could break (he’s the strongest, right?); and yet my affection for mitten1975 and so many other Like-Minded Others comes over me like a strong wind and bears me unresistibly on with all these links to AI generated memes and text.
The memories of the hearty laughs I have had reading DarkStar’s memes come creeping over me, and I feel most gratified to the Mods and to you all that I have enjoyed everything for so long. And hard it is for me to give them up and burn to ashes the posts of future years, when, Modswilling, we might still have read and posted together, and seen our faithful Cyclones and Twister Sisters grown up to honorable NBA, WNBA, NFL contracts, around us. My thoughts just before the first real collegegame transfer of my life: The honor of my race, family & self is at stake. Everyone is expecting me to do big things. I will. My whole body and soul are to be thrown recklessly about the field tomorrow next season. Every time the ball is snapped, I will be trying to do more than my part. On all defensive plays I must break thru the opponents’ line and stop the play in their territory. Beware of mass interference. Fight low, with your eyes open and toward the play. Watch out for crossbacks and reverse end runs. Be on your toes every minute if you expect to make good. Jack <insert player name>.
My thoughts just before the first real college
This is perfect. I could not think of a thing that would cause more of a meltdown in this fanbase than if a player ripped off Trice’s letter when announcing a transfer.
Honestly, as someone who values comedy that player would likely become an all-time favorite.
After several minutes of serious prayer and thoughtful consideration, I am considering transferring to be a tavern Hok. Mom always called me a general nuisance and my brother said I wave to little kids ok. Waiting on my NIL. Always a Cyclone!
