I think he will be a good player but some think he will be a star from day 1. I don't see it.
But I sure as heck want to see him in Ames, not South Bend.
Only plus I could see for people is there's seven home games instead of six...another chance to tailgate and drink

Not really. Doesn't seem to be very fast as a WR. Will be interesting to find out if he is or isn't.
Erik, you know the answer. We are Iowa State. A lousy season doesn't ruin our support as a fanbase. We certainly aren't enjoying this season, but we will be back.
P.S. If some don't renew their tickets, maybe more will be available for me to buy in my section.
We aren't approaching the record they set this year for ticket sales. I expect to see 35k or less. Basically, a number that we wisely won't announce.
He will be coming in. If Messingham is still here, then we will be wondering what all the hype was about. Holy **** this offense has to get the **** out of Ames and do it tomorrow. What a joke. Even in scrub time we can't move the ball.
Our A.D. took a tremendous gamble by showing Coach Dan the door. The football program suffered a serious setback all because the A.D. was not confident Coach Dan could take ISU to the next level. This is not about the football coaches, the question is whether or not the A.D. should be held accountable for a gamble which is looking increasingly disastrous. The A.D. made a big picture move to take the football program to the next level and the big picture is not looking good. The problem is not the coaches--the problem is an A.D. who blew up a fragile football program only to leave the fans now wishing the program could be back to where it was when the A.D. declared "not good enough".
I hope like hell he comes. But if the same surrounding cast is here, what the hell difference does it make. We need someone who can block, someone that can throw a football, and someone to call plays and give this offense an identity before Lazard can make any difference at all.
I think you're on to something. Every season ticketholder gets to call the plays for a series.

They are going to sell a new offensive coordinator. I can't see how Mess survives. They will play it out, see who is around at year end. But I just can't see how PR can bring him back. Not now, too much damage done.
I hope Jack Trice is empty. I hope #SO PWOUD Paul Rhoads gets fired for not getting rid of Mess and not getting better recruits to come here. **** I think Ames High School could beat this team with their running back. This is absolutely pathetic. I hope the team has a ****** drive home and their bus breaks down or flight gets canceled so all the texans can point and laugh at them. GET RID OF THEIR SCHOLARSHIPS, THEY SHOULD PAY TO COME TO AMES AFTER SUCH A **** EFFORT.

Hoping enough do not renew their endzone tickets so I can get back in there, especially now that the expansion may never happen.
