Not trying to troll here, and I am sure I will get reamed, so I'm just gonna hang up and listen. But IMO Iowa wins on a neutral court by 8-10 points. Iowa State is pretty good, but if it weren't for the horrendous officiating in the first 20 minutes, this one might have been over at halftime. Gotta give credit where it is due though, definitely a much more "clutch" team than Iowa.
Good night.
I understand your stance, but you have to watch that game again with non bias. ISU could barely hit anything, including free throws in the first half. This is not how ISU plays, and if you really think that then you need to watch more ISU games. Iowa is good no doubt, but come on - stop with the excuses. Everyone in college basketball, including fans, knows that foul calls are different this year. ISU got called for 7 less fouls than Iowa. That's a little bit but it's not huge. This isn't a massive conspiracy where Iowa got called for 40 fouls and ISU only got called for 15. Iowa should have attacked more by using their body if they wanted to get more fouls, case ******* closed.
You guys have a good team, but a lot of people sound like sore losers trying to come up with conspiracy reasons. If ISU lost, I would have blamed our FT shooting, because you know, we missed like 13 of them. That's an actual verifiable statistic, whereas "bad reffing" is not, especially given anybody's bias. You guys had the game in your hands and in the end, even if you believe you got hosed on a few calls (I don't remember any bad calls in the final few minutes), it's part of the game. It wasn't like you lost by 15 or got hosed on a last second call where the NCAA basketball made a rule in your favor a few months after the fact of you losing (oh yes that happened to us). You lost by 3 points and could have easily won this game, but didn't.
You guys are good this year, again. Be confident and stop acting like you have no confidence in your team. You'll go to the NCAA tournament unless someone like White goes down with a season ending injury.
I don't know how to tell you this, because a lot of people in your camp believe this, but losing to ISU does not ruin your season. You probably won't even drop out of the rankings, and if you do you'll be at 26th or 27th and probably be back in it soon with a win or two. A lot of your guys act like we're a ******* terrible team. Last time I checked, we're ranked higher than you, so this is nowhere even close to a bad loss.
