AS a team, you never want to feel bad after a win, but for some reason this has been the case a lot this year at various times.
Prohm owes no one any explanation. It's his team. He is responsible for it, just like he is responsible for playing Cooke and Ashton at the same time, timeout selection, rotation selection, in game decisions...etc. I am glad he is finally decided to start coaching this team. I like what he said about talking about the positives, I actually like a lot of what he says, but at times things aren't translating onto the court. He knows what the issues are, but the fix hasn't manifested itself on the court as of yet. There is still time. I wish he would gotten control of this earlier instead of letting all this fester till late February. I do feel like in a lot of areas we got better tonight though.
If we had Naz, this wouldn't even be an issue though and if they can figure out how to make a run in the NCAA, this won't matter either. Playing small with George at the "5" with Naz in the lineup was our best lineup anyway. Not having Naz really is really a big hindrance. People forget before he started hurting last year he was one of the best shooting guards in the country. Just can't lose a guy like that and expect everything to go smoothly
My guess is he showed up late and he couldn't play him, but who knows. Hopefully lighting strikes and everyone is happy come tourney.
