I'm guessing he has a zero tolerance policy now with Jameel and that whatever transgression it was would sound silly to sit him a game for (but I would agree with such a policy at this point). Also, he could just want to keep it between himself and Jameel, and I'm fine with that too.

Early leader for dumbest post in 2016.

Team is 19-8 and ranked in Top 15. One player has an attitude the the president of the university needs to get involved. Unbelievable.

Bottom line with McKay and the rest of the team: Prohm doesn't know how to get the best out of these guys. They don't consistently play hard for him. They did for Freddie. Texas is like a different team effort wise with Shaka.

The whole "head coach experience" part of the hiring process was total BS. Prohm's head coaching experience was limited and he inherited a great roster at Murray St. The guy's in way over his head.

Funny how he's always turning to TJ on the bench during critical parts of games. Guess TJ has HC abilities after all...

Hoiberg got these guys to play their hardest? Did you watch ISU basketball the past few years or read CF at all? The lack of effort panic has been pretty much nonstop since Royce didn't sweat enough vs Drake.

Dude you sir are an idiot. Are u kidding? Ever watched a KF press conference when a player is suspended or injured? He doesn't say a thing nor does he have to. McKay isn't Jordan. It's Prohm team and no one else's.
 
If it's a disciplinary issue, why not call it a suspension, even if you don't want to disclose the specific violation?

And if it's too minor, why give him what is essentially the equivalent of a suspension?

The guy has 2 prior formal suspensions, and now commits another violation that isn't serious enough to be called a suspension but is serious enough for him not to play at all?

Prohm's in a tough spot here.
 
I will say this. He is either suspended, hurt, or should be playing in the game. If he did something dumb, then say he was suspended, and if he was resting his knee then say that. Otherwise he should have played.
 
McKay needs to be rested for the stretch run and the tourney. We're at our best when he is at his best. Prohm sat him vs a bad opponent. Why assume it's anything more until there's a reason to do so?

Media types are going to speculate and be negative for hits and because they get butt hurt when a guy in prohms position stone walls them.

His team, his choice, and if it put us in the best position for next month then I'm all for it.

Just watched the presser...some of U have zero clue what being a HC is like or means..zero. Prohm handled that perfectly. It's his decision..period. Nothing else,to say...and what I like is that he said he's not going to discuss negative stuff that's going on because it destroys teams. Totally agree. All these people want a headline and a story and continued drama and Prohm isn't having any of it.

This is how I'm approaching it. Clearly he has a serious attitude problem. I'd say its 50-50 at best that he gets himself right before the season ends.
 
I've kinda got a person in the know and it sounds like Jameel told coach that the Swiss cheese on the Prohm burger at Applebee's is a bad idea. Being that Jameel's from Wisconsin, so he knows cheese, he thought a nice cheddar would be a better option.
 
Our free throw shooting was a lot better. I like what I've seen from Prohm so far, we knew things had to go perfect this year due to our depth, and they haven't, but establishing a culture now will pay off in the long run.

Always thought it was a coaches discretion on who played
