Did you like that novel? I bought it a few days ago but haven't started reading yet.
A few of my friends read it. but their impressions are very different, and I'm curious what do you think about it
It's hilarious. Reads sort of like a comedy routine.
Mistborn is good but I also prefer Stormlight so far. Have you read the second trilogy for Mistborn?Sanderson is one of the most original fantasy writers I’ve read, and The Stormlight Archive is his best (though the Mistborn series is great as well).
I've read 6, and I just noticed that #7 came out in 2022! Definitely throwing that on my wishlist!Mistborn is good but I also prefer Stormlight so far. Have you read the second trilogy for Mistborn?
How are 4-6? I haven't read those yetI've read 6, and I just noticed that #7 came out in 2022! Definitely throwing that on my wishlist!
I liked every book in the series so far.How are 4-6? I haven't read those yet
I'll have to jump over to those after Storm light. I believe there is a time jump between 3 and 4 right?I liked every book in the series so far.
Yep, different time, different people, which had me slightly skeptical at first, but he develops the new characters and settings well.I'll have to jump over to those after Storm light. I believe there is a time jump between 3 and 4 right?
You had me until many say, too close to you know who.Just bought Dennis Lehane's latest crime novel, Small Mercies. Many saying it's his best right up there with Mystic River.
Tom Jones is on my list.Finished, Fielding's Tom Jones last week, funny but old, musty and very long. Had tried to get through it once before but quit after a few hundred pages. Currently reading The Travels and Adventures of Baron Munchausen, old European tall tales.
I’m watching this on Apple TV and am looking forward to the books.Hopefully will begin Wool tonight. They made it into a show coming out in a couple week and it looks good so I'd figure I give the books a shot.

The only other Fielding work I’ve read is Joseph Andrews which was written prior to Tom Jones. I thought it was the more entertaining of the two.Tom Jones is on my list.
