What are you drinking tonight?

Question to you or whatever other degenerate boozers might know... How are the Barn Town offernings? Specifically, the two Berliner Weisse and their IPAs.

I've only been once. Their IPA I had was The Feeling Mutual, and it was good. Not great, good. My tastes are changing on IPA's, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

I really like the IIPA, Chowdah. I hate the word "dank" but it really was dank. IIPA is my #1 or #2 favorite style, so YMMV.

My wife had their Brown, and it was a pretty damn good brown. Hop heads won't like it, but they don't like any browns.

I found the food and service to both be good, but I've heard other say quite the opposite!

Speaking of Mountain Dew. If you're thinking of trying out Not Your Fathers Mountain Ale, don't. It's terrible.
I wouldn't say terrible, but it's not great. Definitely not as good as their root beer, and definitely not worth the $10 or so they charge for it.

Hannah from Exile. Always good to enjoy a local Iowa beer. I've also got some Blonde Fatale in the fridge :)

Bira 91 Blonde, the first craft beer in India, at a place called The Beer Cafe in Pune, Maharashtra. Great place and great beer.

Anyone ever had Russell's reserve aged 10 years? I got some at Hy-Vee for $23

Picked up some Stone Xocoveza and TG Hopsmack last night at the Waukee HV. I iwsh Xocoveza was year round but it's probably good for my budget that it's not.

Had some Moonboots from F-Town Brewing (peanut butter porter) last night.

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest. It's that time of year.

Had some Bad Weather Windvane Red IPA last weekend. That was very good.
Did a mixed six pack of some different Oktoberfest last weekend. Really forgot how good the Bells and Schlafly ones were, probably two of my favorites. Ayinger is always a solid Oktoberfest as well.

Really disappointed with the Sierra Nevada collaboration Oktoberfest with Brauhaus, just didn't seem like a real Marzen.
