iowa looks to be a basketcase of confidence right now. I said it in the game thread, when ISU was on that run in the second, nobody from iowa looked to even want the ball. Much less take the shot.

It wasn't even as if it was disorganized. It was just deer in the headlights kind of panic

Utter and complete domination...and it hurts all the more because of how much fun it is from a pure basketball sense watching Iowa State play under Fred Hoiberg. Envious? Yes. I hope everyone stays healthy this year.

Thanks for coming on here Jon and being a good sport. It's clear that Iowa has a litany of good players, starting with Aaron White. Uthoff's ability to hit threes and Olaseni's defense are impressive, too.

How much of a factor was Matt Thomas's three-pointer at the half in deciding the outcome of the game? Those final 10 seconds resulted in a five-point swing since Iowa had just missed a chance to score at its end.

I was perplexed by Iowa's defense during ISU's huge run in the second half. I know a number of those points were scored in transition after turnovers, but the defense didn't look good even in half court. I was shocked at how often Morris or Niang was able to drive so deep into the paint before a defender would come out to guard them.
