Probably because he’s a true freshman that didn’t play his senior year in high school and wasn’t slotted as the starter at the beginning of the year. He was thrown in mid-season. I don’t think anyone is surprised he’s this good. They’re surprised he’s this good, this quickly, in this situation.Idk why everyone is so suprised. He was a 5 star kid too. Top QB in his class if I remember right.
ESPN running dumb article today that Cincy needs lots of help to get in. Ridiculous.
They are obviously in better shape than entire PAC, ACC and ND whom they beat on the road.
Utterly ridiculous. They probably need to win out but ridiculous to think that Iowa was worthy of 2 and Cincy somehow isn’t worthy of 3. Cincy’s offense would be the best in the big ten.
What did Iowa fans do?
Well Iowa fans did throw beer cans on the field after the game. Purdue OL picked one up and drank it.So, they're like Iowa?
It was in the third quarter when Greg Long picked up the can of beer and poured it over his face.Well Iowa fans did throw beer cans on the field after the game. Purdue OL picked one up and drank it.
I just saw a tweet and didn't realize it was during the game - even worse! It was in the third quarter when Greg Long picked up the can of beer and poured it over his face.
It's more epic. Haven't seen if Brohm has been asked about it or not.I just saw a tweet and didn't realize it was during the game - even worse!

If anyone read the article by Heather Dinich (I assume you are referring to that one) it is complete trash, which is normal from her on the CFP stuff. But the most hilarious one is the the take on Ohio State v. Oregon should they both win out and finish as one-loss conference champions. Her take was that the head to head will only come into play if the committee deems the two teams as equal at the end of the season. I mean good lord what are we even playing games for if the results don't matter? If they are both same record, conference champions, etc. then the only thing that should matter is Oregon went into Ohio State's house and beat their ass.ESPN running dumb article today that Cincy needs lots of help to get in. Then with Cincy they discredit the Bearcat's win at Notre Dame and Indiana. Indiana is not good, but they gave credit to Iowa for winning at Indiana and Michigan State this weekend for squeaking by them. And I can't stand Notre Dame, but winning in South Bend isn't easy and Cincy did exactly what people were asking them to prove in order to get into the CFP.
Ah yes I stand corrected that game was in Iowa City. So that actually furthers my point then as Cincy did it on the road.Iowa beat Indiana at home I believe.
I don't know what happens to Cinci for depth and all but if they make it and are selected I wouldn't want to be the the team that has to play them in the CFP.

That is correct. That game was not as close as the score was. Cincy owned that game. I hope they run the table because I truly do think they are a top-4 team. They are very balanced on both sides of the ball. I don't think anyone other than Bama is touching Georgia this year at the moment, so if they run the table, I think Cincy will have more than earned it.And from what I saw Cinci should have made it worse for Notre Dame. Had some miscues on offense.
