The SEC and ESPN have actually made me less interested in college football than I’ve ever been and more interested in the NFL than I’ve probably been in 15 years.Cal is a pretty bad football team. Even with our recent injuries I don't expect this game will be a close.
But as a long time fan of Pac after Dark my alter ego hopes it is.
For those wanting to get their hopes up, Oregon's pass defense is a chink in the defensive armor.
And Cal, or course, runs the Bear Raid. Or at least they used to. To be honest I'm feeling a bit out of touch with current football. Magic 8 ball is filled with oatmeal sort of thing.

Not everyone is Alabama under Nick Saban.
I don’t disagree but it’s not like they underwent major program changes. Unless you consider moving on from a generational QB a major shift.Even the best can cycle down at some point
Of a 9-3 season?

Maybe. Which would be pretty outrageous there but it feels like they're going to lose momentum.
Maybe college football is just down this season.
NFL's been decent though.
It’s a possibility, but their only remaining ranked opponent before the SEC championship is Arkansas. I could see them running the table and even beating Georgia in the SEC championship.
Again, I don’t disagree but how does this happen to that program? I can see where maybe QB recruiting could drop off but that doesn’t explain the other position groups.Eyeballing it they look comparatively average for talent and it seems like the last 5 seasons they've had just huge fast dudes everywhere.
These Cuse receivers are interesting.
I've been watching A LOT more NBA the last few years. There is so much good, young talent now.The SEC and ESPN have actually made me less interested in college football than I’ve ever been and more interested in the NFL than I’ve probably been in 15 years.
