WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

So, offensive or defensive battle on Sunday?

Biggest blowout in Final 4 history, and the top four margins belong to UConn.

34 - UConn (85) vs. UCLA (51), NSF 4-4-25
33 - UConn (93) vs. Louisville (60), CH, 4-9-13
31 - UConn (82) vs. Syracuse (51), CH, 4-5-16
29 - UConn (80) vs. Oregon St. (51), NSF, 4-3-16

What's the appeal here? Seems like a lateral move at best and a downgrade as most likely.

For her the appeal is $$$, both for her bank account and her NIL allotment. SMU pays.

Appeal for SMU, what CycloneT said above. She seems to be living off her 1 big tournament run.

SMU has deep pockets. Not sure how much Arizona generates or cares about NIL $. Barnes has recruited some good players, just has an issue keeping them. We'll see how it plays out in the ACC, where SMU is at the bottom of the barrel...

In another note, the University of Texas President recently resigned & will take over at SMU in June. Interesting move & rumor was that is was political. There were also rumors that the UT AD was going to SMU, but apparently that was true.

UConn won by 29 in Columbia in mid-February. Any reason tomorrow (2:00, ABC) will be wildly different?

Hope your right. But when is last time SC has been beat twice by 1 team in a season since Staley has been there?

Edit 2018-19 lost to miss st. And Baylor twice.

UConn has been playing really well, and played out of their minds against UCLA. Due to come down to Earth. Plus, as much as it's not wise to bet against Geno, does anyone think Staley is going to let her team get run out of the building in the national final?
