WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Wow, didn't expect her to get a job so quickly again. Especially in a "Power" Conference.
Comments on the socials - Wisconsin AD doesn't care about women's basketball; Pingeton is not much better than they had before. Supposedly no additional money for assistants or NIL for Pingeton.

Sort of why I used the "recycle" descriptor. Not sure how they see her as someone who can build something at Wisconsin. I am not sure anyone can. They have championship level volleyball (and hockey) as their lead women's sports.

Wonder if this causes TT to make a coaching change?
It should Gerlich is not good enough, she has terrible record despite playing a super soft OOC every year.

I guess they couldn't get that rumored TTU oil billionaire to pay for Chavez.

I think this is similar to Rori Harmon's injury. It took her 10 months to be cleared to play again. Definitely different athletes, but RH doesn't seem to be performing like she was before the injury.

Wish the best for JuJu!
Just happened to have a PT appointment this morning and was discussing the Watkins injury. He said an ACL for a high level athlete is usually 9-12 months of recovery. Then there's a long period after they're back on the court where they have to learn to trust their knee again. He said for some, you never truly get back because you're too afraid those hard cuts are going to lead to another ACL injury.

Van Lith gave an important reminder, that what everyone sees is just a fraction of their lives, and that they are humans first, and athletes second.
