WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Yep, but the 2019 article also makes a reference about TJ leaving SDSU to go to UNLV. Applebee's even had an Otzel burger on the menu in Brookings.

Chris Bono also coached at SDSU before taking the Wisconsin job....

Yep I understand that, but I'm hoping Tj has found his spot at ISU. Top half of the conference make the tourney consistently with some sweet 16s or maybe something better occasionally. I just thought that article sounds a lot like Tj and ISU.

Wyoming up 32-28 at halftime. If Wyoming can keep getting it to their star post I like their chances if she gets position on the block it's almost a bucket every time.

Wyoming did a great job limiting CSU's leading scorer and Mountain West Player of the Year, McKenna Hofschild. She was actually from Prior Lake, MN and once scored 63 points in a game. Excellent all around player. I think it was her height (5'2) that prevented her from being recruited by big schools.

If this is an accurate projection, and Clark was "bridled," would Bill's style then make her more successful? It would certainly make her more palatable to some fans.
I have no idea if it would make her any better or worse as a player. My guess is she plays better when she has little to no coaching. But the problem with that is I see a player that doesn't really develop over the course of their career. It reminds me of Lynn Pride at Kansas. Great talent that was honestly wasted because Marian Washington couldn't be bothered to coach her. The Pride we saw as a freshman was the same Pride we saw as a senior: older, but no better on the court. Having some discipline on the court would certainly make Clark more palatable to ME. As she is, I'm ok with her not being a Cyclone. I just don't believe she would fit in at Iowa State as she currently handles herself.

Fennelly absolutely would not tolerate Clark's on-court antics the way Frau Bluder does. Had she chosen ISU, either we'd see someone with VERY different demeanor wearing #22 or she'd have transferred after her freshman season to find a coach who would allow her to more regularly exercise poor judgment in sportsmanship and self-control.

It should be pointed out that being "cocky" and a "whiner" are not always on opposite ends of the spectrum. In the body of many an Iowa Hawkeye, they are quite frequently the same circle in that particular Venn diagram.
I would take ten of each one of our ISU players over her. I don't like cocky or whiner! I like humble!

Rhetorical question to our fans:

Would you take her if she brings any of these?
1. Regular season Big 12 title?
2. Big 12 Tournet title
3. Final Four

Adding Clark to our team would be a no brainer IF she confirmed to the Iowa State way. the last player we had who had an attitude issue like Clark’s (that whose name will never be mentioned) was a disruptive force on the team. Her time here was some of the more miserable I can remember.

LOL I just talked about her in the TCU thread.

Hassel calling Wyoming UNLV. Already mentioned ISU as it pays to have an guy who knows the Iowa college schools.

Wyoming looked to be on the ropes down by 13 in 3rd but at 1 point cut the deficit down to 1 and only trail by 3 after 3.

Kind of interesting if I heard broadcasters right the Mtn West mixes in the end of the wbb conference tourney with the beginning of the men's tourney and both are done in this same building.
