Paige is out and so is another player. UConn is not the normal insane team they have been for so long. Even last years run they are not this clear runaway juggernaut. Super talented, but losing your best player and arguably the best player in the country again sucks. They are a different team with Paige. I get they have loaded classes, but it’s still like if we lost Ashley for the year. Far and away your best player. If Iowa lost Clark they would be in trouble. If South Carolina lost Boston, etc, etc.
Had to look up Fudd's parents names. Every time they said her name I wondered if her Dad's name was Elmer. 
I only watched the 4th Q - UCONN went on the 11-0 run as soon as I tuned in! I certainly don’t like Connecticut but I despise EIU, so I’ll take credit! I’ll reiterate my take - Iowa is a difficult team to like - the only Hawk player I could see on our team is Gabby Marshall - very easy to root against Bluder and Co.!
Clark with another incredibly inefficient 25 points. Marshall and Martin kept Iowa in it today.

Azzi Fudd is one of top players in WBB. She was hampered by a foot injury last year in her freshman year. Was the #1 recruit in her class.
South Carolina's Boston is out with an injury. Hope it's nothing to serious.

South Carolina's Aliyah Boston was sidelined with a walking boot on her right foot after a hard fall Sunday. Coach Dawn Staley said the team is erring on the side of caution with the reigning national player of the year.
Correct. People around here (I live in CT) were jazzed when the light went on for her and she started playing to the level of talent she had. My wife is a UConn alum and die hard women's fan, and Fudd is one of her favorites to watch. My wife was spoiled being in school during every Maya Moore and Tina Charles year. Yeah it was so rough being her lol!
