WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Just channel flipped into an SEC game and see that Cyclone fav, Texas A&M, is about to go down to #1 South Carolina. Gamecocks blasting them by 20 points in the 4th. Will make A&M 0-4 in the juggernaut of SEC league play.

TTU leading KSU by 10 after three. KSU is coming back after a terrible first half. Didn’t watch but saw that they only scored 7points in the 1st.

Tech is running away with it in the 4th, up 19 with under a minute left.

EDIT: 64-45 final.

Was going to add that. Think we can scratch KSU as a true contender. Same day as the click generating Charlie Creme moved them into his top 16 for March. LOL. Only saw that by accident, I don't generally read his dribbling takes.

After watching KSU through the ISU game I would never have guessed TTU could do that to them. Perhaps a hangover from our game? I'm not ready to overlook them yet. Too many good players for their ship to sink.

KSU had two points( count 'em 2!) in the fourth quarter. Could not hit the broad side of the barn. Lee with 12 points and foul trouble. TT fronted her and KSU has a hard time getting her the ball.

What is crazy is TTU outscored KSU in the second half 24-23. It was the first quarter that did KSU in, outscored 23-7.

Tech is such a Jekyll and Hyde team. They can have a great win and then drop one that leaves you scratching your head.

Nebraska gets their rubber match at IC today at 5:00 on regular Big 10 TV. Will likely tune it in. Nebraska was looking good but is 2-3 in league. Iowa bouncing back some at 3-1. Should be an entertaining high scoring shootout.

SEC games today: 2:00 Kentucky @ Tennessee and 2:30 South Carolina @ Arkansas on the ESPN prime channels.

Baylor/Kansas on the Plus @ 2:00.

Really wanted Purdue to pull that off, as we likely would have been ranked ahead of Indiana for the next rankings. Can't believe they blew that lead and then missed the free throw to win it.

#6 Indiana survives in OT, 73-68, at Purdue. Boilers went scoreless in the first 3 minutes of OT.

#2 Stanford (at Utah) and #3 Louisville (at Boston College) both picked up 10-point road wins today.
