WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Oh I see you're conveniently leaving out Indiana, who the Hawks beat twice and was atop the Big Ten standings all season and top-10 nationally.

You're doing a great job being the change you wish to see in the world! ;)
Is Indiana one of the top four teams? 4 teams basically tied for 1st.

Way to prove my point with your second posts and first post.

Indiana absolutely belongs in the top group when discussing the Big Ten as a conference. Against the other top teams in the conference besides Iowa, Indiana was 2-2. They split with Maryland, crushed Ohio State, and lost to Michigan in a game where Indiana was playing without their All-American due to injury. The reason Indiana dropped to 5th in the conference is because Iowa beat them... twice... when they had a fully healthy lineup. Oh and never mind the fact that Indiana has had the highest national ranking in the conference all year.

Checks rankings, sees Michigan at 6 and Indiana at 10, laughs at the Hawkeye fan once again making up their own facts.

Numbers are hard for Iowa fans. 5 losses are better than 4 losses I guess, and for sure 11 wins beats 13 or 14 wins.

Yet, you leave out that if Michigan and Maryland were able to play their make-up games with Illinois and each won, Iowa would be the # 4 seed instead of the # 2.

Maryland and Michigan got the shaft. Indiana does not belong in the conversation, they lost five games and five losses is more than four.

that is not my point... i agree they got the shaft... the seeding is not my concern here.... i was debunking the claim of iowa's supposedly easier SOS

Bluder put her back in because Michigan wouldn't pull off the press. As soon as Clark went back in the press went away, so Clark came back out. God Bless you guys that hate Iowa just because they're not Iowa State. Good luck to the Twister Sisters tomorrow night...how cool would it be if the state of Iowa won both the Big 10 and the Big 12?
This is so foreign to me. I don't go to Hawk fan sites to read what they're saying about ISU because I don't care what the average Hawk fan thinks. To take it a step further, I've NEVER registered a user name at a Hawk fan site so I could comment on items I disagree with. What a ridiculous notion, going to the arch rivals fan site under the pretense of being friendly so you can cast insults while pretending to be a victim. God bless you too, sir!

So what you’re saying is…the Big 10 is highly over ranked. I can accept that.

Big 12 Schedule - Wednesday 3/2 (all games ESPN+)
6:30 - West Virginia (6-10) at Kansas State (8-8)
6:30 - Oklahoma (11-5) at Oklahoma State (3-13)
7:00 - TCU (2-14) at Texas Tech (3-13)
7:00 - Texas (11-5) at Kansas (10-6)

WVU win keeps their (slim) chances alive for a first-round bye.

Texas loss would lock ISU in at #2 for KC.

I just want OU to win out so they get the #3 seed opposite us and we don't see Baylor or Texas until championship game.

OSU completely folded shop in the 3rd after leading at the half. As much as I appreciate the job Jenny B. has done with the Sooners, they are barely hanging on to their 4 seed. I personally don't think they deserve it. A month ago, yes, but now I think they are really more of a mid #5.

Edit: See OSU bounced back but still lost.

This isn't NCAA Div 1 related but the DMACC wbb team's season came to an end. This was the last season for Coach Krafcisin (a long time former ISU mbb assistant) at DMACC after 17 seasons. An article on the DMACC website mentioned that the AD was strongly looking at assistant and former ISU wbb player Jocelyn (Anderson) Kovarik as the next head coach.

I wish I could of covered some of his teams. Out of high school in 1999 I went to the Boone DMACC and got the job of sports editor for the paper while I was there. At that time DMACC wbb was barely a program and it was finally getting some momentum when I graduated in 2001.

So many great changes have happened at that campus since I left the biggest being that they built student housing (my entire time there I had to commute from Nevada).

In Pac12 tournament Arizona lost today in the quarters to Colorado 45-43. Arizona in the last reveal was projected @11, we will see next week if this impacts their seed and hosting.
